Obituary

About Francisca Obiageli's Life

Francisca Obiageli Scott was born in Warri, Nigeria on the 26th of June 1949.

Her earliest years were spent in Nigeria.  She completed her secondary school certificate in Lagos.

Her heart set on nursing she moved to the UK when she was 17, to pursue her dream career.

In London she joined the NHS, qualifying first as a Registered General Nurse (RGN) and then as a midwife.

A keen traveler, she spent her holidays exploring Europe’s capitals and other cities by train.

She met and married her husband John in 1972.  Together, they were blessed with 4 children.

Francisca devoted her life to her children and enjoyed numerous memories with her grand and great grandchildren.

Francisca was an always kind, infinitely generous person, with a strong set of values, which gave her the strength to face life’s challenges with fortitude.  An amazing  mother, aunt, friend, guide and mentor.

She was called onto our lord on 5th November 2022.

Our Mum, Francisca was the pillar of our family, our North star.

We are mummy,  because you were.

Mummy, Nana, you live forever, in our hearts.

Rest in God’s grace, until we meet again.
