Sadly due to the current circumstances with the pandemic, only a limited number of people are able to attend the funeral service in person. To allow others to still feel part of the day, the family have organised for the funeral to be live streamed online.

Funeral Service will start at 14:00pm

Obituary

About Johanna 's Life

Johanna O’Sullivan was born on the 24th February, 1928. She was the eldest of 6 children born to Michael and Anna.

She grew up in Kenmare, Co. Kerry, Eire where she lived until she was 17. She then moved to England to train as an SRN.

She met Bill Broad while she worked in Sheffield Royal Infirmary as a theatre sister. They married in 1953 and had two children William and Jane.

The family emigrated to New York in 1958 and returned to the UK in October 1961.

They ran their own businesses from 1970 to 1998. Joan attended St. George’s church Bickley for 50 years.

Bill passed away in August 2014 after 61 years of marriage and Joan passed away on the 16th August at 4.15 am due to long term heart failure.

She is succeeded by her two children, 6 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

May she rest in Peace.
