Following Yolande’s death in 2019, the family held a service of commemoration of her life in Sandhurst Parish Church, two days before Christmas.  The obituary on that occasion delivered by her son David, spoke of her total commitment to family and the local community, all voluntary.  She organised local ‘Meals on Wheels’ delivery rotas, helped in the Day Centre for the elderly, was a guider for the local Brownie Pack amongst many more.  The decision to donate her body for Medical Education also demonstrated her total commitment to humanity.  Our whole family are extremely grateful to all at the London Anatomy Schools who have cared for Yolande during the past three and a half years.  She is remembered with love and affection by all who knew her.
