Our beloved Mum, Sui Yee Lam, passed on September 13th, 2022 at the age of 74 due to complications arising from COVID-19.

Mum was born in Guangzhou (Canton), China on September 20th, 1947 before moving to Hong Kong and meeting her future husband, Bing Cheung Lam (Dad) in 1969. It was love at first sight and they married shortly after.

Dad, an established restaurateur, persuaded Mum to join him in the UK, settling down to start a family in Taunton, Somerset. After four children and running a successful business together Mum and Dad retired to Hendon, London in 2002 to be closer to two of their children.

Sui Yee is survived by her husband Bing Cheung, their four children; Vivienne, Julie, Andrew and Nina and 5 grandchildren.

If you would like to pay your respects, all are welcome to attend the memorial service at Hendon Cemetery & Crematorium on Friday October 7, 2022 at 1pm.

由於染上新冠病毒引起併發症，我們敬愛的媽媽 Sui Yee Lam 於 2022 年 9 月 13 日去世，享年 74 歲。

媽媽於 1947 年 9 月 20 日出生於中國廣州，其後於1969 年移居香港, 並與未來的丈夫林炳章（爸爸）相遇。他們一見鍾情，相處了一段短時間,便認定終身而結婚了。

爸爸是一位中式餐館的老闆，他說服了媽媽和他一起到英國生活，並在薩默塞特郡的湯頓安頓下來, 繼而一起建立了一個有四個孩子的美好家庭, 並且一起經營飲食生意. 直到2002年退休, 當時選擇了到倫敦安享晚年，以便他們接觸兩位女兒。

瑞薏留下了她的丈夫林炳章和她的四個孩子惠儀、惠敏、智文、惠芬以及 5 個孫子孫女。

如果眾親友們選擇悼念媽媽，請大家出席於2022 年 10 月 7 日星期五,下午 1 時在 Hendon 公墓和火葬場舉行的追悼會。
