Please bring your thoughts, prayers and fondest memories of Jay.
Yacob, known to most as Jay or Junior for most of his life, was born in Trinidad and Tabago in 1953.
At the age of 8 he migrated with his family to the United Kingdom to begin a new life where his father had already begun to set up the future for the family.
His father initially worked in a warehouse for Beechams where he joined also as he became older.
However Jay had the self motivation to learn and became a skilled mechanic off his own back.
He had his own garages over the years and was successful in the profession he loved.
He then became a husband and father, I still have fond childhood memories when the world and life seemed good and easy.
The later part of his life had its own inflictions on him but for many of us who knew him, we remember exactly how he was at his best.
Jay will be surely missed by many and not forgotten.
