About Honor Oak Crematorium

Honor Oak was built in 1939 and was designed by William Ball and Maurice Webb, son of Sir Aston Webb, designer of the nearby Camberwell New Cemetery. It is part of the complex that includes Camberwell New Cemetery and the local authority Bereavement Services are also located there.

Chapel Capacity

The chapel at Honor Oak Crematorium has capacity for 80 people to be seated inside. There will be additional space for standing if required

Live Webcast

The crematorium chapel is equiped with webcast facilities to stream the funeral live for those unable to attend. There is an additional fee from the crematorium for this.

Digital Screens

The front of the chapel is fitted with digital screens where you can choose to display a photo, slideshow or video of your choice. There is an additional fee from the crematorium for this.

Service Length

The crematorium provides a total of 30 minute services in the chapel, as well as the option to book a double service if requested.
