Meet the in memory of life team
As an independent and family run funeral business, we treat each of family as if they were our own. We want to enable funerals to be led by honouring the memory of the person who has passed rather than price or availability. We aim to make funeral planning simpler and more transparent, and above all to give families full control in all the decision making so that they are able to say goodbye in a truly personal way.
On the day of the funeral, you will be greeted by one of our Funeral Conductors, either Brian, Martin or Geoff. The conductor, recognisable with a top hat and cane, will be your main point of contact and will compassionately guide you and all attendees through the day. Each of our conductors are highly experienced and will answer any of your questions as well as providing instruction to our team or to any family members who choose to carry the coffin.
fuNERAL operations team
Our funeral operations team will collect your relative in our private ambulance, before caring for them with complete compassion and respect at our specialist mortuary facilities in South East London. On the day of the funeral, a team of experienced pallbearers (coffin bearers) and chauffeurs will be there to support you together with the conductor and any officiant you have chosen. Our team will always be immaculately dressed in smart uniforms at all times.
One of our Funeral Arrangers will be your main point of contact before the funeral, connecting with you from the first phone-call and guiding you through each step of the arrangements along the way
With a background working for the NHS involving care homes and end of life services, Matthew is well aware of what constitutes a good service for families. He is highly knowledgable about the funeral industry and will answer any questions you have
Jo has a background in the health and wellbeing industry before moving to a volunteering role as a counsellor at Cruse, the bereavement charity. Jo has now decided to utilise her experience to support families when they need it most following a bereavement
We have spent time to carefully interview and hand select our funeral celebrant partners to ensure that they share our ethos, together with a high level of integrity, sensitivity and experience. If you decide to use one of our celebrants, they will spend time listening to you, learning about the person who has died and working with you create a truly meaningful funeral service.
Rosalie is an award-winning independent celebrant who delivers ceremonies with elegance and flair. She creates and conducts bespoke and person-centred funeral ceremonies for people of all backgrounds, beliefs, gender identities, ages and abilities.
It is Lucy’s privilege to help you plan the service and guide you through the process. She will listen to your needs, help with all aspects of the ceremony and try her hardest to make the occasion work in the best way for you
Rebecca will tailor your service to cater for any required wishes, requests and beliefs. It can be traditional or contemporary and she can create a ceremony that can be spiritual or secular (non-religious), or you may like to include a hymn, prayer or blessing. It’s your choice
