We have just learned today of the incredibly sad and untimely passing of our colleague Aaron. We worked in different teams and so didn’t have a lot to do with each other. But he was always incredibly knowledgable and willing to help and share his knowledge with others. Aaron will be deeply missed, particularly by the testing community here at the access group. Our thoughts and prayers are with Aarons family at this time

The fact that Aaron was such a positive, chatty character and full of life makes it harder to accept his passing. Often on group calls he would be the first one to speak, fearless to say whatever was on his mind and curious to know what people were up to. I hadn’t worked with Aaron directly for a long time now, but would often chat on the “water cooler” chat, about all things random and was looking forward to meeting up at the company festival later this month. Aaron was really one of a kind and will be sorely missed here at Access.

Such a special person, with a wonderful sense of humour. We had such fun swing dancing with Aaron and he always made us feel so welcome. I’m so very sorry to hear of his passing, such a loss.

I feel so privileged to have known you and have this amazing memories with you of the bond and atmosphere you created with people. I will be forever thankful for all that. Condolences to the family as I cannot even imagine how hard it must be.

I knew Aaron for less than a year through our theatre group and was privileged to be included by him in a friends group. He was truly a lovely person who cared so much for people and interested in everyone and everything. His knowledge and passion for films was mind boggling and his humour and kindness was special, he was one of a kind and my heart is broken thinking I will never see him again in this lifetime. I will miss him terribly but was so very grateful to have seen him a few days earlier and spend the day together having a fun filled action packed time and that will stay with me forever. He was inspirational and inspired me to be better and do more. I cannot begin to imagine the pain his family are going through, my sincere condolences and thoughts at this saddest of times. Until we meet again xx

It was a real shock to learn of Aaron’s passing. It was only a few weeks ago that we have met in person down in Loughborough. We chatted about everything during our meal, work, movies even politics (even tho he did try to stop himself)! Aaron has always tried to be helpful whenever you ask for help and always super friendly. He will be missed in the Access Group.

I have nothing but lovely memories of Aaron and indeed Trina when we were thrown together for the final two years of secondary school. Aaron was always friendly chatty and genuine and when we saw each other for a school reunion he hadn’t changed. Whilst we haven’t seen each other in years I felt connected somewhat with social media and enjoyed keeping up to his antics. i remain deeply saddened by this great loss and I can see from the comments following his passing that he remained the most loveable and genuine person continuing to bring light and joy to all he met .. We will all treasure the time we spent with him x

I extend my deepest condolences to Aaron’s family for the loss of an incredibly skilled Automation Tester. We will miss him dearly and deeply appreciate his hard work and dedication. His humour brightened our days, and his absence leaves our Quality Assurance meetings quiet and sombre. I hope he has found peace on the other side, wherever that may be.

Aaron was kind, inclusive and always up for a laugh. He created a little theatre group, and we have all become friends through him. Aaron and I shared a love of interactive theatre and travel. I have many lovely memories of him trying to get into the action at an immersive thing. Our last time at Phantom Peak was a brilliant evening. We both really wanted to enter the film competition and he just went for it, following the mayor around like an investigative reporter. I struggled to film it because I was laughing so much. I miss him, I miss his banter and his bad puns. I wish I could have known him longer. Sending my condolences to his family, cannot imagine what you must be going through.

I remember the 1st party at the University bar. Lots of people milling around, barely knowing anyone, and this ball of energy that was Aaron randomly going round these different groups introducing himself and then to everyone in his flat. From that party I still have friends today that I perhaps only met because of Aaron’s energy and love of life. Goodbye my friend

I was a new member of our theatre group and didn’t know Aaron for very long but during the time I got to know him it was apparent that he was a fun and proactive person who liked making plans and making everyone feel involved. He would often share great advice on both theatre trips and activities to do. We both shared an interest in film too and so Aaron was great fun to talk to, it was impressive how much he knew. During a time I was unwell he would often check in and make conversation, which I really appreciated. To me Aaron turned out to be someone thoughtful and kind with a good sense of humour who you could easily be yourself with.

We will dearly miss Aaron at his family’s get togethers, having spent many a Christmas and birthday party with him. You always felt comfortable in Aaron’s presence, he had a way of being that allowed you to be yourself. He seemed to create an immediate sense of affection for him. I’ll miss the book, film and Dr Who conversations and already wonder what he’d have thought of the new series. A really lovely man, who befriended so many people. X
