Where do I start with this man and legend of a person  Been a massive privilege getting to know Alan growing up and was a massive part of my childhood growing up.  A memory in particular which I will never forget and neither did Alan – I loved food and I would eat anything and try anything until he gave me a olive (which I thought I liked) until I realised it had some sort of chilli/spicy texture inside lol fair to say I was very nearly sick after which Alan found hilarious. 10 + years on I now eat olives and when I do I always have that memory in my head when.  You will be sadly missed by everyone and I am so grateful to have met and grown up knowing you.  Lots of love,  George x

Alan has been a good friend for over 40 years, our kids grew up together and have spent many times getting up to no good… all encouraged by Alan! He was a straight talking, no nonsense man, some thing we appreciated, he had a wicked sense of humour and took great enjoyment of me being the butt of his jokes..We have very fond memories of Alan and the Coude family, Jack Alex & Jessie still talk about knocking him up for Sunday morning fry ups. A lovely man that will be greatly missed Steph Chris Jack Alex and Jessie x
