Wow what can I say! There are not enough words to describe how I will miss him . Ambrose was like a brother to me, a true true friend . The most lovely Husband and Father. Ambrose went above and beyond for his family, friends and his charity work . We will never be the same without him. Rest in peace my beloved friend my brother x

I am so sorry to hear about the death of Ambrose. We had many chats together in Purley gym and we often reminisced about the boys and how we had fond memories of laleham Lea days etc. I read about the funeral on the St Aidans website. Such an infectious laugh and sincerity in everything he did. He always had time for us as his neighbours, so kind and patient. Our thoughts are with Lorraine, the boys and the rest of the family.

I cannot believe I am writing about my beloved brother in the past tense but it is a reality and I must try to accept it. Please God help us all to do this: Ambrose was the kindest, most caring and thoughtful brother, brother-in-law and uncle anyone could wish for and our family will be the sadder without him. But we take solace knowing that he is now with Mum, Dad and sister Mary. Ambrose, Lorraine and the boys have been our wonderful neighbours and friends for almost 30 years. We were so sad to learn of Ambrose’s passing and offer our sincere condolences to all the family. We will miss Ambrose’s infectious laugh and buoyant spirit.

Condolences to Lorraine,Jack,Sean and Rory. The first time I met Ambrose it was like we had been friends for years. I wish I had gotten to know you better than I did. A man who loved God, loved his family dearly, and would do anything to help you if needed. I will miss the stories, the pints with the head of foam just right,and that wry smile and infectious laugh. From the photo below I can see it’s the Ambrose that I shared a flat with in Chiswick in the 70’s. Amazed that I just put his name in google today and found this. he was a great guy. sympathy to his family
