The Wake for my lovely father's funeral will take place at the Claddagh Ring, Hendon.  The wake will have full parking available for up to 40-50 people. We will have a private room/ bar with both warm and cold food available in the form of a buffet. Drinks will be available to purchase and I'm sure myself, my friends and family will all put money behind the bar to ensure everyone is refreshed throughout the day/evening. The place closes at 11pm and everyone will need to then make their own arrangements home. I will be hosting a small gathering at my fathers home for close friends and family afterwards, should anyone wish to attend. Please do not worry if you cannot attend either the funeral or wake. I understand, my father understands and my family understands. We all have lives to live so please do not feel guilty if you are unable to attend for whatever reason. I know you will always be there for us and my dad, like you have always been in the past. I'm really looking forward to meeting you all, catching up with you all, sharing stories, music, laughter. There is no dress code, for both the funeral and the wake. Please dress as comfortable as it suits you. My dad would want you all to be comfortable. I will be wearing an Arsenal shirt for my dad on the day as he loved that football club more than me sometimes! But please do not feel obliged to do the same. Wear whatever you want. Please be comfortable and happy. He would not want it any other way. Stay safe, well and tell your loved ones you love them whenever you can. Amy Sheldrake
