Angelo Navaratnarajah

I was deeply saddened to hear about the passing of our dear friend Angelo from our university days at Moratuwa. He was a genuinely kind and down-to-earth person, and I cherish the memories we shared. Although miles apart, the bond we formed remains strong. My heartfelt condolences go out to his family and loved ones during this difficult time.

I was deeply saddned to hear about the loss of my batchmate Angelo Navaratnarajah who lived in England. He was the overall batchtop for all four years. He was my partner in the First year experiments in 1995, we were four starting with “Na” doing experiments together, Nalin Navarathna , Angelo Navaratnarajah ,Nazeer and myself. After the first year, Nalin selected mechanical , Angelo did computer , Nazeer electrical and I did civil. Angelo was always very kind to me when we worked together and I will never forget it. I am praying for Angelo and his family during this difficult time. Rest In Peace my friend. Udeni P. Nawagamuwa  29th April 2024.

Lecture halls, the canteen and the university bus stand may still carry the warmth of your smile – so innocent, genuine and enviously bonding. Your genius, processing power and calmness was one of its kind. I am glad that I could at least meet you once after we parted our university life, but there is no words to express my feelings on your passing away..! Angelo, may you attain the supreme bliss of Nirvana, though I genuinely love to see you and that genuine smile of yours, somewhere in another life!

I am still in shock of losing such a gental and warm hearted friend. You were a genius who topped our batch in academics, but you greeted everyone with the warmest smile. I have chatted to you a few times since we parted from the University, but we couldn’t meet each other. I wish we had more time to spend and cherish. They say the good people in this World go to rest early and maybe that is the reason you had to leave us so soon. Rest in peace my dear friend. We will miss your beautiful smile. Whoever is in the World you are now are lucky to have you there. Until we meet again.

Angelo you were a brilliant person to top the batch in our university. You were a gentleman and a humble person. I will always have memories of your pleasant humble smile. It is extremely sad that you had to leave so soon. Your memeries will stay with us forever.
