We are heartbroken to share the tragic news that Ade Akinpelu has passed away. His sudden loss has left a deep void in our hearts and has profoundly shaken our family and his loved ones. Ade was more than just a brother, son, godfather, and friend; he was a source of love, joy, and inspiration to everyone who knew him.

Ade’s warmth, kindness, and spirit touched the lives of so many, and his absence will be deeply felt. As we navigate this incredibly difficult time, we are reaching out for your support as we plan Ade’s memorial & funeral. About Azeez Adeshina (DOTSTAR)'s Life

Azeez Adesina Akinpelu, known to many as Dotstar, was born on November 23, 1990, in Hackney, East London, to Dr and Mrs. Akinpelu. From the beginning, Adesina’s life was steeped in music and creativity. He began his education at Clitterhouse Nursery and Edgware Primary School in Northwest London. He continued his journey at St. Mary’s Secondary School (Church of England), before completing his secondary education at London Academy School. He pursued his A-levels at Stanmore College, laying a strong foundation for his future.

Adesina’s passion for music led him to take a gap year at Brunel University to immerse himself in his creativity skills. He later earned a BSc degree in Digital Media from Middlesex University. Alongside his studies, he worked as an IT Engineer for various companies, showcasing his all-around talent. He also launched his clothing brand, OTSCLO, merging his artistic vision with his entrepreneurial spirit.

Dotstar became a beloved figure in the music world, particularly in the early grime scene in Northwest London. His songs “Stick Up,” “Xpensive,” and “She’s Killing Me” resonated with many and earned him a place on the popular urban network Channel U. Adesina’s influence and charisma extended beyond his music in 2010/2011, He made history by being the first black UK artist to perform in Nigeria at the imperial Awards.

More than just a musician, Adesina was a beacon of kindness and generosity. He was a godfather to twins Temilade and Tiwalayo and supported children in Africa with their education fees, embodying the spirit of giving. His warmth and genuine nature touched everyone who knew him, making his passing an immeasurable loss to his friends, family, and the music community.

Dotstar’s legacy is celebrated through heartfelt tributes and condolences shared worldwide on social media. He was a pioneer and a legend in Northwest London, a man whose contributions to the UK music scene were profound. His fusion of music and business acumen has left an indelible mark, inspiring future generation artists to follow their dreams with passion and integrity.

Adesina, known for his beautiful soul, will never be forgotten.
His music, generosity, and the love he shared with those around him continue to resonate, ensuring that his spirit lives on in the hearts of many.
