An amazing woman who dedicated her life to education. An amazing Mother, and Grandmother. Thank you very much for everything you did for the family. We will always remember you, and keep the memories in our heart.
Rest in peace, Dear Mother ❤️ ! She was truly a smart and valuable woman! Your mother has left her mark on the minds and education of many generations! She was a model Mother who raised and educated three sons as well as grandchildren! She was the best model of a Mother. A Lady who conveyed values and kindness. All those who were lucky enough to know her know this. Our sister Diella is very grateful for the support and encouragement she gave her! She was a very honorable Lady for our family! We keep in mind and heart these moments that we spent with her in Albania. Our father Nikolla Vuka sent his most sincere condolences for the loss of our dear Friend. Also, we, Diella sister’s together with our families, send our most sincere condolences for the loss of your beloved Mother. She was a dear friend of our family who we will remember with respect and love. May her soul rest in peace Berly Mary ❤️
Beryl was such a lovely lady and wonderful neighbour. I hugely enjoyed my chats with her on the benches around Kings Paddock. She was always so kind to our son, chatting to him and enjoying watching him play. Rest in peace Beryl. With best wishes to her family, from Bethan and Johnny
I’ve been out-of-touch with Beryl in recent years but heard regular news of her from Luke and Chiade. I wanted to say that I admired, respected and liked her very much and was very sorry to hear that she had died. I’m sending warmest wishes and condolences to Simon, Nick, Matthew, John and all her family.
I have always had enormous respect for Beryl ( Mrs Lane ) as I knew her when my children were fortunate enough to be pupils at St James’s . As a young mother I learnt so much from her wisdom and experience and the values and standards she set have never been matched since. We were privileged to benefit from the excellence she demanded and in doing so have many memories and life lessons which will never be forgotten. Christine Robinson
Beryl was a wonderful next door neighbour from 2006 until 2023 when she moved to a downstairs flat in KP.We spent lots of time having coffee or gin & tonic and putting the world to rights and sharing news of our families and she is very sadly missed. I have watched Julian growing up and then his two sisters came along and Beryl was so proud of them . We talked of our times working in schools and our love for the children and I know there are many children who benefited from Beryls inspiration as a teacher and a head. Love to the boys and their families you must be so proud of your mum. Shirleyx
Aunty Beryl, you were my solid rock when Samuel was growing up,your knowledge of dyslexia powered me for his education without your support for me I’m sure he wouldn’t be where he is now, rest in peace ,your family will be fine, so glad that we all caught up,all our love,Lisa and family xx
My Headteacher neoghbour. My sounding board. One of the very few people in the world that I know who has not only walked in my shoes but done it so fantastically. I’m hoping that when I sit on my little chair at Kings paddock Bezza will be there with me with her advice and on going support. She is and was a rock to me. Amazing.
Mrs Lane was a towering head teacher – literally, to the many young kids she looked after, but also figuratively. Her passing has inspired much conversation and shared fond memories among my old class mates, almost 40 years after we left St James! Condolences and best wishes to Mrs Lane’s family.
