My heartfelt condolences to us all Losing our dear Aunty Betty, gran auntie etc feels like losing a part of ourselves. She wasn’t just an aunty to me(Stella) — she was like a mother to me in UK, a friend, and my constant cheerleader. Her words of encouragement, her love across the miles, and the warmth she carried so effortlessly will forever remain in my heart. This loss is heavy for all of us, but I take comfort in knowing that her beautiful soul touched each one of us in special ways. May we find strength together as a family, and may God wrap us in His peace as we remember her with love and gratitude. Aunty Betty will always live on in us. With love and sympathy, Stella

My beautiful vivacious stylish Aunty Betty! So you are gone! You were always curious and loving towards me! There was always a hint of laughter in your voice! And when you sisters – the Osammor Sisters got together there was loud argument in crisp English and Igbo. There were always stories whilst you guys were cooking up a storm. Stories of your parents, stories of your grand parents. I will certainly miss you! You loved music, you loved your nieces and nephews, you loved dancing, you loved fashion – you loved life! Fair thee well! You were loved.
