Bola Iyabode Ijaola

Iyabo as fondly called by us Bode’s friends, she was a loveable and a woman that surely enjoys live. Iyabo was a good wife to our friend, a loving mother to Zee. She later became a bigger friend to us all than Bode on the social stage, Iyabo has gone to rest but her legacy lives on. Rest in peace Omo Ijaola.

As tears of sorrow roll on my face, I choose to remember the laughter, the joy, and the countless precious moments I shared with my beautiful sister. Thank God for the gift of her presence in our life and for the radiant happiness she brought into our family. Though her absence is deeply felt, her spirit lives on in the cherished memories that time can not fade. Grant me the grace to celebrate her life and to find solace in the beauty of our shared experiences. AND May God hold us together as one bonded by same blood Amen. Death is the utmost price every human must pay, aunty iyabo as I foundly call you,you came, ,you see and you conquer. Your departure is from the stage is not a sorrow one but a celebration of an epitome of woman. Sleep in the Lord till we meet again in the paradise . Adieu,

I thought of you today. That is nothing new, I thought of you yesterday and days before that too.You left me beautiful memories ,your love still is my guide and though I cannot see you, you are always by my side forever in my heart. God has you in his arms. I have you in my heart.

Rest in peace my Lovely sister. You will always remain in my heart and soul. I especially will miss your sweet voice and smile Life without you will never remain the same You will be truly be missed. Darling Aunty Iyabo, You were such a sweet, loving, hard-working and beautiful soul. Your kindness, loyalty and willingness to always be there has been a true inspiration.  Your absence will be truly felt. God has you in his keeping and we have you in our hearts. Rest easy, sis. May angels light your path.

Iyabo, it is sad that for the past 3 years when a close friend used to fondly talk about you, I never knew it was you as I knew you as Iyabo and not Bola. It was even sadder to hear of your demise, but God knows best. May God forgive us all and I pray that your soul now rests peacefully and that God continues to console the loved ones you have left behind, most especially Zainab xxx Sleep well.

Rest In Peace Iyabo omo Ijaola. We were classmates in Secondary Boarding School before we became aware we were related down the line. Ijaola descendants! We then went home on vacation to be informed there is only one Ijaola and we are sisters. Indeed we were cousins and since then, we called each other, “Cousin Mi”. I could not attend your family tree’s reunion you invited me to whilst in Lagos. I wish I did! You raised a pleasant and sweet daughter, Zee, Zaynab. My prayer is may she continue to be strengthened in the Lord and the power of His might in Jesus mighty name. Amen.

I have never met you, but I wish I had. I heard about your goodwill, your very good nature, your love of others and most importantly your kindness. I am so close to meeting you but death snatched you from us. We shall meet again in eternity. Rest in peace.
