What a wonderful human being Carol Evans was, she will always remain in my heart and mind. I remember the time we all use to meet in the first floor lounge on a Friday evening, some of us would take a snack to share with others, I always took 2 items for 2 ladies I call my friends, a quiche for Carol Francis, and for thr the lady of the day, pork pies for the wonderful Mrs Evans. You will missed Carol, we never got the chance to say goodbye. RIP my friend. Xx

Its just not fair you have been taken, I just can’t believe it. I didn’t get enough time with you, it makes me upset I didn’t get to see you as much these last 3 years since I had the babies. I loved being around you, you was a favourite of mine and i hope you knew it, I meant it when I said it. You was Just so honest, never fake, didn’t take no rubbish you didn’t want to, I loved that about you. I could always trust you, the things you said, you wasn’t a liar, just truthful and beautiful. You was just normal and i know you would understand what i mean by that, you had no time for bullshit and I will truly miss that. I get comfort in knowing you are with Claire now and I can talk to you in my head. I really will miss you Carol, it truly is so painful knowing you are not here, I really wanted you at my wedding to share my day with you. I feel so lucky to have known you, when we went out there was always someone who knew and admired you and I always understood why. I love my Evens and can’t wait to meet you again to smoke a secret fag and enjoy a wine with you but just one because getting you home was a nightmare. My Mad Madam Mim.

Ohhh Carol never forget you my love RIP with your daughter now. Thinking of your dear family that you’ve left behind So very sad You left a lot of good memories too and a few empty glasses Rest easy Carol
Notified Carole, from the very first time we met, I couldn’t believe that at 22 I’d found someone who loved a drink as much as I did — I thought you were the best. I didn’t even like wine back then, but you told me it comes with age, and you were right. We shared so many bottles of wine and so much laughter. You were always there for me through all my health struggles, always checking in, always caring. I was so lucky to have a second mum, and you truly stepped into that role — always looking out for me, Vin, and the kids. You loved us all so much and were so proud of all your grandchildren. Such an amazing lady. We love you loads and will miss you always. {}[+] Name* Email*
Wow… what a woman you were. So independent, so strong, and one of my biggest inspirations – you never took any nonsense from anyone (especially men ). You went through so much, but you always got up, got on with it, and carried yourself with pure resilience. I’ll carry that strength with me always. You were my safe space then, and you’ll always be my safe space now… even if from now on I look like a nutter having a chat with the air – or a glass of wine in the corner… which I’m sure would be your spirit animal Now enough being mushy, because I know you’d say, ‘I love you dear… but Oh stop it now,’ while waiting for your glass to be filled – even though your glass was always full, because you filled your life with love, laughter, and the people who mattered most. I’m the proudest granddaughter, and I know you were just as proud too. Sleep tight Nan, you are so loved… now go be my guardian angel, and don’t be too bossy about it Love, Izzy xx
Well Carol where to start. It was 60 years ago I walked into that office in London where we started out as secretaries..that’s a lot of years to cover till now. There are hundreds of memories. In a lifetime you only have one true friend and Carol was mine. Although I now live hundreds of miles away we always met in summer in Turkey and I visited every Christmas. My last words when you ever left Turkey were always get that christmas tree up before I arrive. This christmas just gone we didnt realise would be our last together on this earth. I will miss you and your weekly phone calls telling me about family and what everyone was doing. You are at peace now and will be with Clare. Fly high my one true friend. Party on up there.RIP. you were loved by us all.xxxxx
I have known Carol for 27 years, and her kindness, warmth, and gentle spirit will never be forgotten. She touched the lives of so many with her compassion and her beautiful heart. Although she is no longer with us, the memories we shared will live on forever. Rest in peace, dear Carol. You will always be remembered with love and gratitude.
In loving memory of Carol. Always smiling and always up for a party. There are so many memories I could share, but my favourites have to be the times we spent at your pub in Edmonton—sleeping on the floor in the spare rooms after very boozy nights. We used to joke that you and Mick were our foster parents. You will be missed xx
I have know Carol, since I was 7 years old. Clare was my best friend and I spent lots of time with the family. I will always remember a very Happy Carol and a party animal just like her daughter Clare. Fond memories of you both. Love always xx
It was with great sadness you departed this world on Christmas Day but you gave me the best gift of all which is calling you my friend. Each friendship has its flaws but hand on heart, ours was a true meaning of friendship. You came into my life some 20 years ago and have been there through my ups and my downs. You never wavered in your loyalty towards me. We are a group of 5 friends and no matter where you are, we will always be a group of 5 friends. Carol my love – I will always choose you to be my friend in this life and the next and the next. There is still life in the next kingdom so wait for me my friend. We will one day be sitting on the same table drinking, eating and being merrily. Sleep tight my friend and REST IN PEACE IN PARADISE Carol. Make sure you and your daughter continue the party up there and I promise we will continue to meet up and look after eachother down here. Gone but never Forgotten and Forever in my Heart Carol Evans Goodbye My Friend.
Dearest Carol, We started out as work colleagues and straight away became good friends. I will remember your happy, smiling face, always great company and such happy memories of our many meals out over the years. You were a lovely lady and I will miss you always xxx
My dearest Carol, When Sharon came into my life 15 years ago I was so so fortunate that so did you and my life was blessed by this. I will always remember and treasure your words of wisdom, encouragement, the good times we shared, the laughter and of course the many drinks we shared. Specifically the time when we all had too much too drink and as we left the club you ended up sat on the floor, as I picked you up or so I thought, all I had was your coat as you had slipped back out and you were again sat on the floor and we were all left crying with laughter. Carol you were a very special lady who will be missed by all but your legacy will always live on in our hearts and memories xxx
Carol, I honestly couldn’t have imagined a better mum-in-law for my friend Shelly. Like her, you were strong and resilient through some incredibly tough times, yet I rarely saw you without a smile on your face. I can only imagine the huge hole you have left in the lives of those who love you. Sleep peacefully, lovely lady — you will be deeply missed. x

Holidays, BBQ’s, cheese nights, meals out. They were always such good times. Our hearts are broken. We’ll never forget you and the big cuddles you always gave, they always made people feel loved. Our deepest sympathy to Vincent, Michelle, Alex, Izzy, Kelly & Charlie xxx We love you all loads. RIP Carol, Love ya, Kim & Mick xxxxxx
Carol, you were a good friend and neighbour, we had lots of laughs over a glass of wine. Miss you so much. You are back with your daughter again. Rest in peace. Jackie xx
Carol, I’m going to miss our Wednesday hour together when instead of doing what I was there for we spent more time putting the world to rights and working out which companies you had ordered online from, and it didn’t matter how many times I told you not to buy things from Facebook you still went ahead and did it and would say to me “oh well it looked good” You were a formidable character and that’s what I admired about you. As I always said to you when I left “lock the door, don’t let Spider-Man in” and you would reply “no I don’t want him in here” which always put a smile on my face. RIP love always Lesley x

Wishing you all strength, comfort and peace during this difficult time. With love Boyd & Tina xx

Carol was one of the first friends I made when I moved to Eltham in 1988. She was Sassy, intelligent, well traveled , kind and one of the strongest women I have ever met. she was always there for her friends no matter what trials and tribulations came her way. No matter how bad your day was a glass of wine with Carol would always end in laughter and mischief and her favourite mantra when we got a bit merry ( Don’t tell my Vincent ) ha ha as if Vincent didn’t know about her antics. Rest in Peace Carol reunited with your beautiful Clare. Our thoughts and prayers and love are with you all today x
Carol we met many years ago through my brother Mick and sister in law Kim. You were such a happy bubbly person that would do anything for anyone. You will be so missed by so many. Bet there will be a good few wines drunk later in your honour. Gone but never forgotten. Cheers Carol. Love Neale and Carole. Xx
