Auntie Carol was always a loving aunt to me as a child, and it is a shame that despite not seeing her again after all this time, I still have fond memories with her. One of those memories was receiving a massive Christmas globe with a music box inside as a present from her. That globe is still one of my most precious gifts that I have received and I have done my best to take good care of it, and will continue in doing so, in memory of her now. My condolences to my Nan, Trisha and the family. Kind Regards Kiran James, Carol’s Great Nephew
Carol was my best friend for 42 years. We went to see shows in London, had nice meals out, went to Covent Garden loads of times, she came to stay with me at various places I moved to and we shopped! Unfortunately I still hadn’t managed to see Carol after Covid but was trying to get her out to meet me but alas it wasn’t to be. My dear friend, I will miss you, your phone calls and the laughter we had together. Who am I going to confide in now? A shock to lose you but you have gone to a much better place now. I cannot get ‘Albatross’ out of my head now. Lots of love, your forever friend Maralyn xx Love also to Alan who I never go to meet.
