Chelsea Nomazulu Kuhle Mazava- Madaka was born on Tuesday the 19th of June 2001 at St Georges Hospital in Tooting Broadway, London Borough of Merton. She was the first daughter of Bongani Madaka(Father) and Patience Mazava(Mother). Chelsea was brought up and raised in London United Kingdom between the boroughs of Hackney and Mitcham. She attend early education @ Nursery on the Green in Mitcham from the age of 3 years until she was 5 years old. She proceeded to start formal education at St Thomas of Canterbury a Roman Catholic School in Mitcham, whilst also attending Cherubs Play group for after school clubs. Chelsea enjoyed her time at St Thomas and engaged with the Christian Values of the school and went on to attend Baptism Classes and was Baptised as fully christian. After finishing her Primary school, Chelsea attended Ursuline High School for Girls in Wimbledon, she passed her GCSE and went to enrol for Degree Course at Kingston University in London. Chelsea in a 3rd year of her Degree when she passed away. Chelsea passed away on Thursday 18th of August 2022 @ 2pm following a sudden Brian aneurysm(brain bleed). She is survived by both her parents and her Siblings, Ashley, Charlene(Sisa) and Khanya.
Chelsea was fun and loving daughter, sister, grandchild,,niece, cousin, friend to many people, She impacted a lot of people in her brief life. She was vibrant and very assertive child from the onset, She became very independent quite early than normal teens, She has moved into her own apartment at the age of 18yrs and had bought a car at the age of 20 years. Chelsea enjoyed herself and liked hosting friends in her apartment and her last few months were full of life and new experiences. She was very much well travelled,, and had travelled North America @ least three occasions touring the whole USA with her grandmother(GogoBusi) who loved her dearly.
We take comfort that she was loved by us as a family and Friends and she enjoyed her short stay in this world. She has been called to be among Angels and “Abadala” to look after us and prepare for our Journey. We say “Lala Kahle MaMsipha, Umafungashe wethu, wena kaSpanga, KaMsoni, KaHlupe KaNdaba” My your Great Grandmothers who welcomed you this Earth, Intombi zakoHlabangane(UnaThami lo NaSonile) welcome you in Heaven and guide you through your work.
