Dad, We miss you so much. Not to be able to touch your hand or see your face is a big void in our lives. As difficult and hard as it is to accept that you are no longer here, you are at peace now and reunited with your childhood sweetheart Daisy(mum). Your lifelong journey, without a doubt, was filled with great courage, sadness, happiness and above all the gift of sharing your unconditional love with your three grandchildren, Chantelle, Monique and Cameron. They truly adored you. As a young boy, you had to trek the Burmese jungle, in fear of the Japanese soldiers. Along the trek you lost your brother Noel, Spencer and baby brother under unbelievable conditions, but dad, your brother Owen, you and your mum(Lily) survived and eventually made it back to Rangoon. At the age of 19, you married Daisy and by 25 years old you were a father to three children, the eldest Cornel only 6 years old, Ashley and June. I know how much you loved the simple, carefree life. You worked hard to support the family, we always had food on the table and you dressed us beautifully. You loved the support and friendship you shared with your friends, but you gave up this simple life you enjoyed for the family. It must have been hard to emigrate to the UK in order to give us a good education and a better life. This was a big sacrifice dad. I know how much you enjoyed the hot weather and the casual open way of life, but you never complained. I am truly grateful for all the love, care and sacrifice mum and you gave to us. I am sad that you struggled with bad health over the last 5 years, but you could not fight any longer and with your last breath you said goodbye. As hard as it is not to see you or touch you, I hope and pray that you are with Daisy(mum) reunited and at peace. The suffering is over. Dad you will always stay with me in my heart ❤️ and I will never forget the memories I hold close to me. God bless you Dad. Enternal rest grant unto Colin and may the perpetual light shine upon him. May dad’s soul rest in peace. Amen. Love you Dad always.

Dad went to join his heavenly family 3 months ago today. RIP. We miss you Dad & Mum and our grandmother every day. Our daily prayers for all of them. Below is a photo of Dad with his hearbeats some years ago just after Mum had passed away. ❤️❤️
