I met Cynthia for a short time through her sisters but it felt as if we had known each other for a long time. We prayed and believed together but God knows best. I am so glad to have met her albeit for such a short time. She came across as very courageous, humourous, and strong…..did not want to fuss about things or worry anyone. She was full of faith, love for the Lord to the very end. I will miss her laughter and infectious smile. I was always welcomed into your home, able to raid the cupboards as if they were my own, able to share whatever I was going through…to be greeted with an unassuming grace, elegance and warmth that was entirely uniquely you…and not just me..but my family…Michael, Levi and Naomi and even my niece and nephew…were allowed to bask in the glow of your loving spirit. Thank you for blessing my life CC.. I am deeply saddened by the passing of my dear friend Cynthia. I loved you in life and will continue loving you in death. I have only just opened this link as I failed to open it when I received it a few days ago – I wanted to spend a few more days believing it wasn’t true being so far away. I will miss our 2 hour calls and most of all Cynthia’s laughter. My deepest condolences go out to Bashi Matthew, Matthew, Candice, Aunty Theresa, Connie and the entire family. Cynth, I just don’t know where to begin. I wanted to see you. I wanted you and Amaya to meet. For you to share a moment with your daughter even a minute. We wanted to spend time with Mummy Cynthia. We didn’t want to see you through a window.  I sing a lot of french nurseries to Amaya..guess what? I remixed them with everyone’s names so that Amaya get to know every member of the family. Chomb sometimes laughed at me but I know Amaya knows who mummy Cynthia is because I tell her:  You will meet Mummy Cynthia one day She is always happy, beautiful, smiling, positive, strong and she dances a lot. Mummy Cynthia came to France to pick mummy and daddy’s wedding venue one day Mummy Cynthia was married for 23 years with uncle David She has a son, your cousin Matthew And a daughter, your cousin Kandice. Soon you will meet them. Mummy Cynthia has a big garden with a  trampoline Amaya you will go there to play with Kandice. Today Amaya met her cousins but you were not at home.  Mummy Cynthia we love you and miss you so much.  Cynthia I can’t believe you are gone Thank you for always being there. Thank you for all the positive words and all the advices.  I will make sure Amaya knows who you were. She will know who was her mummy Cynth.
