Gone but never to be forgotten. An epitome of perseverance and a heart of gold filled with love. Memories come flooding back and sometimes we wish we could rewind time to live it all over again. But it is well, Life is a cycle, we go so that others can grow but the memories will live on in the hearts of those you touched. Adieu our mummy because you mothered more than just your biological children and we won’t forget that. Rest in the Lord.

Mothers are always inestimable jewels, they are there for us in all seasons. Mama, though you are with our creator, God Almighty will continue to protect and guide us that are left behind. I remember as a youngster pulling up to their beautiful home in Fani Kayode Avenue in GRA Ikeja Lagos. She was courteous, kind offered me a drink. I remember her laughter and smile and her ability to keep you at ease in her presence. She was protective of her girls and lived for them and treated their friends with equal affection. My condolences to the family. Being mums neighbour for the last 10 plus years I’ve had many quick chats and catch ups with mum sometimes long sometimes short. I’ve only ever had to meet mum once to know she was kind hearted,genuine, strong and just an absolute icon. I’d love our little gossips about the neighbours and when my daughter was born and she met her one day we were coming in I remember mum just adored her and gave her lots of kisses and cuddles. I’ll cherish all the stories she shared and memories I had with her over the years. We will miss mum lots and my love to the family. Love from Sasha and family
