Dean Taverner

Thinking of you all today. So sad to hear of your dad’s passing. I have such fond memories of Dean from school. When I was 5 I was in love with him and he was the boy I was going to marry. When I was 6 I wrote ‘I love Dean’ on the toilet seat in my mums red lipstick (classy). I remember we bumped into his mum, your nan, and my mum telling her and they were laughing about it. I was mortified. I left Suffolks in year 5 and went to another school. Dean came round a few times, I went to hang out around Yeoman’s Way sometimes, I remember your Uncle Lee locked me and Dean in a shed of some kind. We went to the same secondary but were in different sides so didn’t see each other much. Years later we spoke on Friends Reunited an Internet forum before Facebook. You were little then, we spoke a few times on Facebook. He was so proud of you both, with your football and street dance. So sad to hear of Deans passing, wish I had spoken to him more. My dad used to go to school with your grandad Frank. Give my regards to him and to Lee. Not sure if they will remember me. My dad’s name was Derek Parker. I will be thinking of you all today xxx
