Eddy…you were the first person I sat next to and met almost 12 years ago when I arrived in London and to NA. You embraced me and made me feel welcome. You were such a light and your laugh was so contagious ! I hope you found some peace now. Here are two photos I took of you looking like the real you

I had the privilege of meeting Eddy in 2009. I was always drawn to her flamboyant and beautiful energy, her fighting spirit, infectious laugh, her support and guidance over the years. Life won’t be the same without you Eddy, but just know that you are loved and missed by all who had the privilege of knowing you. Thank you for showing me that no matter what, going back to the old life is not an option. You’re a true “No Matter What “ warrior. I’ll never forget the laughter at the hospital and seeing you with fresh lashes and nails, in true Eddy Queens fashion, not to mention the wig. You have left a gaping hole in our community and will live on in our hearts. Fly high Eddy Queens…….GBNG

Eddie you gave me the encouragement to not run away when things got hard & believed in me that i would get my daughter back, you have paved the way for women in recovery to remain strong and support each other, fly high

So sorry to hear the passing of Edith. She was my first and best friend when I changed primary school (Rosedale) we were inseparable. She had a beautiful voice and always wanted to perform. My heart is torn. To her family, stay strong and be each others comfort. RIP dear friend

Eddy and I first met when we joined the cast of Black Heroes in the Hall of Fame. Oh, how we laughed together and shared so many good times while touring. It took us a minute to warm to each other but once we did, we were good. An amazing singer/performer with an amazing soul who was so kind hearted to everyone she came in contact with. You are a strong, independent, vibrant being who still had so much to give however, you’ve been called home to glory where you can continue doing the amazing things you always did and keep on giving the gift of you. Thank you Eddy for being in my life’s journey. Fly high Angel. Fly as high as the rainbow carries you. You are loved and will be missed. Peace be still ️ ️ ️ ️

It’s taken me until now to be able to write a message as I’m simply still lost for words that we’ve lost you, I thought you would be around forever. Many wonderful years of friendship, the first few we were joined at the hip. Thank you for adopting me into your family very early on and I will never forget that. I’m so happy you met all of my family too and they are as sad as me at your untimely passing. Thankfully I have a million happy memories of you captured in my heart, mind and on video. You always striving to create better worlds and places, showing the way with your strength, vitality and tenacity. The rock you have been for so many. Your incredible spirit, warm soul, kind hugs will never be forgotten. It’s with such great sadness we no longer have you on earth with us and pray you are being as celebrated in heaven as we want to here. What an honor to have been in your orbit, with yr incredible friends and this life you made sure you made the most of. Through the sickness you still shined bright and remain forever a beacon in our hearts.
