Elizabeth Roger was a remarkable soul with an extraordinary heart. Her kindness, gentleness, and generosity knew no bounds. She exemplified a true servant’s heart, driven by her deep love for Christ. My family and I were blessed to have known her—indeed, she was like a godmother to us. In times of emotional, spiritual, or mental struggle, she was always the one we turned to. With a warm smile, she would welcome us and comfort us through her heartfelt prayers. She was an angel in our lives, and we believe she was the same for many others. Though we miss her dearly, we take comfort in knowing she is now in a better place. Heaven must surely be rejoicing and smiling upon her arrival. We love and miss her deeply. Rest in peace, Elizabeth, and rise in glory.

Thank you Elizabeth Rogers for so many good memories I had with you from birthday party’s to church events and helping my family after my mum died.you were the most nicest and caring person In my life ❤️ love you rest in peace I will see you again soon.

So sad to hear that Elizabeth as passed away She served the Lord so well and a great witness to all The John Kirk mission were she help her sister Jean & Brother in Law Michael Lennard with there Christian work when see came back to London from India were she was a missionary there so glad we had the privilege to know her in our younger days as younger Christians with love Steve & Carole Whitton & Family xxxxx

The thing we remember most about Elizabeth is her smile, as well as that empathetic look on her face as she listened to us. She was a year ahead of us in her Hindi language learning when she accompanied us in 1966 on a 2 day train journey across northern India & then supervised the loading of our luggage aboard a rickety taxi to climb the steep & narrow road to Mussurrie, a hill station in foothills of the Himalayas where we were due to commence learning Hindi. We were a young, naive couple with a 6 month old baby, Over 5 years in India, Elizabeth became a very good friend, staying frequently with us in Muzaffarpur, 100 miles south of Raxaul. We became used to that lovely smile & her warm, unassuming, supportive nature. Geoff became one of her patients at the Duncan Hospital in Raxaul when he contracted hepatitis. We were delighted when she settled in Southall after re-tyrement, surrounded by so many South Asians, with whom she could talk in Hindi, & when she joined the vibrant, multi-ethnic worshipping community at St.John’s. As you know so well, Elizabeth served others sacrificially in many practical ways. We were stunned to hear of her passing from Ruth, as we often spoke with her on the phone, even comparatively recently, but we know that she’s received a great welcome Home from the Lord Jesus. Thank you so much, Elizabeth, for your friendship, your chuckle & your smile. You were a wonderful example to us of a life lived for Jesus & for others. Geoff & Dee Larcombe

Dear Aunty Elizabeth, you were and are the greatest inspiration through my life. Being your goddaughter, you really taught me what it meant to love Jesus. I can truly say that my faith today was only made stronger because of you and your unwavering faith in Jesus. It was an absolute joy of mine to grow with you throughout the last 36 years, you taught me so much. The life you lived to serve and love others truly showed what it meant to be Christ-like. I will truly miss your jokes, your smile and the way you counselled me, in teaching me how to apply the bible to my life. I’m sorry we didn’t get to meet the last eight years, but there was never a minute that I didn’t think of you. You have fought the good fight, you have finished the race and you kept the faith all throughout your life, no matter what came. I will miss you for the rest of my earthly life and I don’t think I’ll ever find anyone like you. I love you beyond words could ever say, until we meet again. St Johns had 4 praying angels who were at every prayer meeting . Kate, beryl, Dorothy and Elizabeth. Always praying for people, supporting them, listening to them. You all will be greatly missed.You were the last one to leave. We thank God that he allowed us the privilege of spending sometime with you.Rest in peace and rise in glory

Dearest Elizabeth Your life truly reflected the Christlike character. You were a wonderful friend, I will never forget your kind and gentle manner. It was my great honour to spend time with you and truly learn from your wealth of knowledge, especially about the things of God. You ran a strong leg for God. May God reward you greatly for your years of faithful service to His Kingdom.

Dear Aunty Elizabeth, you taught us at Sunday School from early 1990s at St Johns Church ACF. My siblings and I learnt so much about the Christian faith through you. Rest in paradise xxxxx
