The family wishes to extend deep gratitude to all, for the prayers, support, comforting messages, calls, flowers, cards and gifts during this time of bereavement.
Although this is a trying season, we are confident that our dear mummy – Folake Akinuli, has gone to be with our Lord and Saviour – Jesus Christ. 2 Corinthians 5:8 (NKJV) – “We are confident, yes, well pleased rather to be absent from the body and to be present with the Lord.”
To be absent from the body and present with the Lord means that the moment mummy breathed her last breath on Saturday 12 November on earth, she was instantly transferred directly into the presence of God, not temporarily but forever.
We give thanks to the Lord Almighty.

Mummy was a sweet, loving, kind and protective mother, who always desired the best for her children and family. Growing up, she shared many stories that made us laugh yet prepared us for our mature days. We’re grateful to have shared many loving moments with our mother and that’s what we hold onto. We may of lost our mother on earth, but God has gained His daughter in Heaven and one day, we will reunite with our mother again and continue to share loving moments together.
