YOU ARE MY LIFE! My darling Geoff you are my life! I wake with the dawn as you take flight, I feel your arms around me tight to comfort me through the long dark nights. I’ll see you in the morning sun and in the whisper of the trees, the shimmering sea that you so loved, beside me I know you will always be! My love is yours and always has been and will go on forevermore! Because you are my life! Yours always, Teresa.
Jeff you will always be one of the funniest people I’ve had the pleasure of knowing! Go well mate x
Geoff the first time I met you as a brother in law we struck up a friendship I knew then that you were one of the good guys and a decent human being, (you will be missed )
So dearly missed, for the time I new you ,Jeff , you was a entertainer and a pleasure to be around, even once ya drunk a bottle of whiskey and smoked 50 cigars,RIP mate ,as sinartra would say : I did it my way ,
Dearest Geoff, I don’t know how to put into words how much you will be missed. We have had so many adventures together. Lots of partying, fun and the occasional fall out! That’s what families are about, and you were a big part of our family for the last 30 years. As a grandad, you were always ready with a joke or a funny story. Whether it was silly voices, goofy dances, or endless pranks, you knew how to make us all laugh. You were also the most caring grandad we could ever hope for. Rest easy now. You’ll be dearly missed, but I will always remember you being happy, in the sunshine with a cold beer in your hand, and in later life, with Mum in Lanza ❤️ I love you, Katie xxx
Dear Geoff, it’s hard to believe it has been nearly a month since you left us and yet it feels like no time at all. You truly were a wonderful grandad and so many of my childhood memories had you at the centre. We loved laughing about our special Saturday library trips when I was in primary school, just the 2 of us and I’m still not sure which of us loved them more! You brought so much laughter to our lives, embarrassing us in front of strangers by hiccuping in every single elevator we went into and not making a reservation in restaurants but still managing to get the best seat in the house. Love you and miss you loads, but you will always be with us in our hearts. Thank you for being a wonderful grandad and don’t worry, I will never buy the Tottenham shirt. Love you, Lulu xx
Grandad Geoff, thank you for being such a comfort and inspiration in our lives. Your vibrant smile and jokes will be remembered forever and will remain alive in our hearts. You always knew how to put a smile on mine and my sister’s faces. We are so grateful to have been your grandchildren and I will forever treasure that. Love you forever grandad. ❤️
Grandad Geoff, We were so lucky to have you as our Grandad. You were that grandad that filled our hearts and our bellies! I picked up some quirky traits from you, including my love of pickles and smothering brown sauce in my Pukka Pie. I knew if you liked it so would I! I remember our holiday to Lanzarote where we didn’t stop laughing all week. Even a lady on another table said she’d never seen people laugh so much. You never failed to put a smile on our faces and you were always ready with a joke. I’ll never forget us dancing the nights away in Oasis all together on that holiday. You were always there for us when we needed you. You’d be there at our school assemblies, at my football games even in the freezing cold. Most importantly when I was ill in primary school. Mum would drop me over and we would have a Sophie and Geoff day, which always consisted of a bacon roll and a doughnut. Thank you for being the most amazing Grandad, the best story teller and the very best roast potato maker! I will miss you lots xx Sophers xx
Dearest Geoff, Well here we go… You were always up for this game. Its all about the party! You wouldn’t be depressed at death, more about a chance to celebrate with something. So I’m raising the glass to a dapper man with impeccable ones and twos, who enjoyed the quality of life. We talked about this most Fridays at 661 Davidson Road, after a load of vodka or gin or brandy or whisky or whatever was available! Those were evenings: enjoyable, fun, putting the world to rights; agreeing, disagreeing, arguing and then waking up in the morning saying what a load of bollocks we would talk about. Some of those chats were instrumental in decisions I have made at work. How to drive a sale. Don’t take 2nd best, full price, full deal, loads a money! I don’t think you realised I was listening. You were always centre of the party with funny lines and and an easy pisstake. But in an instant you were caring for your family, especially your Grandchildren and would stop everything to play with Lucy, Sophie, Gemma and Immy. Echoes of Teresa telling you off for going too far are etched in my brain and then a silly giggle. Silly was what you enjoyed. Oh that and the boxing. So many late nights watching the boxing through squinted drunk eyes whilst you were mimicking the moves, standing up and throwing a right hook and a 1, 2 jab. Remember the ice bucket challenge? You thought that was hilarious. You were up for a game and a laugh. Even on the golf course we had a few chuckles with your perfectly timed wit. You’re missed Geoff, but the legacy and memories will endure. Thank you for the laughs and thank you for your caring. Those were your super strengths … apart from your ability to discuss everything in rhyming slang. Sláinte mhaith Geoff. Here’s to you and I hope you’ve got a VSOP and a large la-di-da on the lip. James x
Dear Uncle Jeff, I will always remember how encouraging and supportive you were towards my children and your funny sense of humour. Loved to see your photos from Lanza with Aunty T – you loved life to the fullest. Rest in peace now.
Dearest Geoff, the one who was always the first to wish me Happy Birthday, stepped in to help us out with transportation for our wedding, nothing was ever too much to ask! Can’t believe your gone until we meet again ❤️ sending love to all the family ❤️❤️❤️ love Danielle and Adrian xx
To our lovely uncle Geoff , you were completely a one off in the best possible way. You were always the life and soul of our get togethers. You made every occasion hilarious with your wonderful stories and antidotes and you always made us all so welcomed. You had a wonderful ability to talk to anyone no matter what their age, you would find common ground with them and would normally have them in stitches. We loved you for this and will miss you so much. Thanks for the memories and thanks for the amazing way you loved and looked after our beautiful Auntie T. Until we meet again our lovely Uncle. Love Rachel, Mathew and family xx
Geoff I only knew you for a short time. However, I knew what a great person you are. I really enjoyed chatting to you. I also remember how concerned you were when I was suffering with back pain and I was finding it difficult to climb the steps. May you rest in peace. Love xx
Happy birthday ❤️ we love you xx
Happy Birthday! Love you lots xx
Happy birthday Grandad Geoff. Love you so much ❤️xx
Dearest grandad, How is it possible that you were the funniest person ever. I don’t even know how you came up with those crazy jokes that would always make my laugh until I cried! You will always be remembered as caring and loving! My favourite three memories with you are always when you picked me up from nursery and you would drive us to ‘East Side Cafe’ you would order a coffee and I would order a cheese toastie every time, until I would come back home and mess up Nanny’s fresh bed for fun! I loved having those chats with you about what our favourite orders are at fast food drive ins! And we would also go to The Golden Lion for breakfast every time I would have a sleepover at your house! It was the best! I was amazed at how you ordered a whole slice of toast just for me! I will love you so much, forever. Your birthday was celebrated by everyone this year even though you weren’t here, I was here for you. Remember that even when you thought I was busy not listening to you, I could always hear a glimpse of your cheeky voice from around the corner, I can still hear you now. Lots of love, Immy ( Stinkster)

Geoff, I guess I joined the party late and so missed you in your prime. Having said that I know only too well from lots of time with Immy and Katie how much you brought to their life, that legacy will be with them as they navigate the challenges ahead. The time caring and being there through tough times for others showed you for the man you are. I remember our first drink and dinner together like it was yesterday, Casa Lola, a cocktail and you checking in to make sure I was the right person for Katie (& Immy)… More recently conversations about football as more than a quarter of the Fulham line up found there way to us via Arsenal – I always respected your objective view on football…A ‘gunner’ through and through, but you had that great way to look at the games objectively…even when Arsenal were playing…there ain’t many football fans who can be that objective 🙂 Sad I didn’t get more time with you in your peak years, but enjoyed the time we did have. You will be missed in the present but have left many memories that I’m sure will be reminisced over for many years to come. Rest in Peace Mark
Dearest Dad, My Hero, I don’t even know where to begin to express just how much you mean to me. You were such an incredible man, and the bond we shared as father and daughter was truly special—one like no other. You were always there for me, offering unwavering support and guidance. Your advice has shaped who I am today, and for that, I am eternally grateful. I have so many beautiful memories that I will cherish forever, especially the wonderful holidays we spent together as I was growing up. You were the best grandad to the boys; they idealise you. We’ve spent countless hours looking through videos on their phones, watching the silly dances and songs you made up, always making them laugh until their bellies hurt. You were my rock and filled my life with love and laughter. I will always hold our moments close to my heart. I love you, Dad. Until we meet again It was an honour to be your daughter xxx
Dearest Grandad, You were the best and funniest grandad anyone could ever ask for. You made me laugh until it hurt! I love you so much and cherish all the wonderful memories we made together. From the places we visited to the holidays we shared, every moment spent with you was special. Listening to your funny stories and silly songs was always my favorite. I miss you so much already. From the very first time we met you I knew you were a genuine gentleman as people say one of the good guys the few years we were friends felt like 20 years plus which speaks volumes for the man you was. I am certainly going to miss our chats about Lanzarote, football and discussing our similar ailments we both have. Fly high my friend until we meet again keep the party going.
