Mrs Irma has been a great friend of our family for many years. She was a warm, friendly and loving person towards all. Deepest Condolences to Rebecca, Daniel and family. With love from Jas,Lall and family.

Irma was a unique woman.Her early life experiences shaped her to be the person she would become; on her terms. This meant strength, kindness, being resourceful,empathetic and tolerant to all people.Instead of shrinking the conquering good of the human spirit: hers grew in stature.Yes, there were trials, but also great victories. I always think that if you are a friend, and can be just as engaging to the next generation of that friend- you have a true friend indeed.That is what Irma became for me, from knowing her as a child to a mature woman we enjoyed each other’s company; helped each other up and were present to make a difference in each other’s lives. I had experienced her forgiveness, pearls of wisdom (often dry! ) and her shockingly flirty nature; always bubbling up to give us a reality check and keep us all “real”. Thank you my friend for being present in the whole of our families lives, your door remained open for all who called on you.Your feminine example has been an extra education for me personally. From the very first cookery book that inspired my culinary journey; to the first experience of a reverant Mass….to picking plums from your tree and laughing in your garden. I will treasure the memories close to my heart, my Angel. Love Amanda Charrion. I

Irma was a sweet loving person. Never said a bad word about anybody and was always fun to be with. I will remember the good times we shared having lunch together in the Shell Centre restaurant.

Irmgrad, Irma, Grandma, Mum, moma affectionately called by most of us “There are no words to describe who she was just a beautiful soul” she had no reservations to love you no matter who you were or where you are from love flows effortlessly from her, especially in her infectious smile which emphasises the importance of connecting with people,she was smart and full of wisdom, caring and sharing was one of her main attributes whenever she was eating she quietly asked where is yours sleep on Grandma we will miss you.

Auntie Irmgard was such a wonderful loving friend, she stays in our hearts as a caring, supportive, funny, strong lady who always had an open door for us and was always interested in how we where, we are truly sorry for her loss and will never forget, Gods Blessings and Love from Abiola, Ajoke and Morenike and BaiNyass

She was wonderful and made our family’s lives in Brixton very very happy. Hughie, Caroline, Freddy and Alice (She was lovely with Daisy and Alfy as well, but they were too small to remember)

It’s difficult to remember a childhood birthday when Irma wasn’t there; you could count on her unique laughter and presence every year. Irma was a strong, caring and kind woman; a source of strength and friendship. A friend for life for so many, you are forever in all of our hearts.
