Jimmy Dunne

Jim will be sadly missed, I have fond memories of his visits to us in Ireland, he tried to teach me to draw a horse when I was very young, he was good, I was not I did eventually get better and went to art college but I think it was the challenge I liked. I remember him bringing a few rubles from Russia and it was so exotic to me. I’d never seen currency other than Irish. I remember him bringing my brother fishing, I remember my mother cooking the catch. I remember him playing pool with his sons and my brother in our local. The thing about death it takes away future memories and that’s what makes it so hard. We are left with our own recollections which fade with time. I think Jim’s personality has so spread wide the effect and loss will take a long long time to fade. May he Rest In Peace
