Where do I start! This is one of the hardest things I have ever had to write. As I think of you Kurty, not only my cuz you were a brother to me. I think about the memories of the good times we shared from childhood to adulthood. Me you and Bruno were the 3 musketeers! We have laughed and cried together, been there for each other through good times and bad. Our lives will never be the same again without you. I write these words with a broken heart thinking everyday I will hear your voice and I will wake up from a dream. Kurty, never forget the happiness you brought to me and my family whenever you visited us in Wales. I still keep questioning why you? I need more time, one more call and then the reality hits me and it breaks my heart. I miss you bro and you will forever remain in my heart & memories. Goodnight bro shine bright. K.U.R.T.Y ❤️

Well Kurty,I didn’t think It would come to this so soon, I am already missing your phone calls,and our 3way video calls with Bruno .Im giggling to myself thinking about it, especially when you and I are trying to get a word in while Bruno is speaking.But I will always treasure the happy memory of you at my birthday party,seeing your cheeky smily face,rest easy my brother until we speak again your broken hearted cousin Mario ❤️xx

I’m so sorry for you all at the sad passing of Kurty. I hope that your happy memories bring you comfort during this difficult time. Although I didn’t see Kurty often over the years, whenever I did, he always greeted me with a big hug. I truly regret not being able to be there in person, but I hope the day goes smoothly and serves as a beautiful celebration of Kurty’s life.

Kurty, Life really is unexpected and cruel. One of the most kind and pure souls we all were blessed of knowing. You always knew how to make us all laugh, how to wind us up. Kurty was my best friend in Croydon, he has always been around me, great guy, nuff laughs. He was like a brother from another mother, we liked the same things, especially music, Kurty would call it the 3 R’s Rap, R’n’B and Reggae, what a character. He will be so sadly missed, he would call me and say Floyd I’m coming down, can you buy me a drink lol of course I would ok bruv. He helped me alot. R.I.P my friend . What else can I say, he was just a true, kind friend.

Just heard of the sad passing of Kurty. I am so sorry for your loss. I spent many a good summer with Kurty when he used to visit Newport in the early 80s. He used to bring us all the best rap songs from the various stations in London. He was always so full of energy and had a constant smile on his face. Those were good days, they really were. I’ll miss him, that’s for sure. Condolences to you all.

I remember Kurty from the rugby ground in Frant Road. We went to Margate once on the train with Bruno and one other guy whose name escapes me. Would’ve been around 1990
