Beautiful smiling Julia, I had the pleasure to know you personally and work alongside you. You looked after a few of my many children as they came through the nursery and they also have fond memories of you. Our last contact was you sending me pictures of my family and just goes to show your lovely spirit and nature that you had. Always smiling, laughing and gave great hugs. I was very tearful to hear of your passing yet know you will live on through your children and grandchildren and the memories you created and impact you had on so many ‘little people’.

The sadness of losing you too soon is a loss I will carry forever. The memories over the years growing up and as adults are priceless.I was blessed to have you as my big sister. RIP My beloved Julia.

My dear friend Julia, this is so heartbreaking for me. You, June, Jane and myself had so many plans for outings during our retirement, and I’m so glad we got to spend some quality time together during this summer. You are a genuinely kind, caring and adventurous soul, and I loved your simple philosophy on life, love and environmental issues. I still laugh at your attempts at exiting public loos without touching the handles, and demanding we wash our hands after touching just about everything. You always saw the good in people, and remained connected to your friends. Your love for the outdoors is legendary, you always ensured that the Nursery children spent as much time as possible planting, caring for mini beasts and engaging in seasonal activities. My mum loves you,and we all miss you terribly. Sleep on my friend, you have left us with many precious memories. You are gone but never forgotten. You will ALWAYS be in my heart, my dear friend Juila.REIP

Julia was a wonderful colleague, and her kindness and warmth touched so many. She took great care of both my children and shared her experience and guidance with me while we worked together. Her presence and wisdom made a lasting impact on me. I also appreciated her support when she attended my baptism, offering kind encouragement. I know this is a difficult time, but I hope you can find comfort in knowing that she is now in God’s presence, where she will have eternal life, as promised in His word. Julia I will treasure those precious memories we shared from childhood to adulthood. I so wish there had been more. You were always there for us all with your love and support, you were selfless. You still had so much more planned. Our world is empty without you dear big sister. So certainly made a difference to so many. RIP my dear sister Joanne x

Our dear friend Julia where do we begin? What amazing memories you have left us from our times together over the last 44 years. The fun school holidays when the kids were small, holidays away with them all, coach days out, train days out, the fun nights out to relax and let our hair down after having the school holidays! Then when the kids were all grown up, the holidays and adventures as proper adults and through it all the laughs, oh the laughs! You truly were the kindest, loveliest friend to us all and we will miss you and all the holidays and adventures that were still to come so very much. Thank you for being our special friend, you will always have a place in our hearts Love from Jean, Chris and Maureen xxx
