Kong Chan (陳光) was born on the 23rd November 1936 in China.
He moved to Hong Kong in the late 1940s where he worked in the thriving construction industry.
He married Yuen Tai and they raised a family of 5 ambitious children, and is a grandfather to 8 grandchildren.
Eventually, he moved to the UK in 1998, where he ran a very successful take away business along-side his wife and son.
In his free time, he often enjoyed watching football and caring for birds.
He also loved to be proactive and was often found in the garden or doing various DIY jobs around the house!
He will be greatly missed by all those close to him.
