We are devastated by the loss of Konye who touched the lives of so many. Our family wishes to extend our deep gratitude and appreciation for all who have prayed over us, supported and comforted us and have sent flowers, cards and gifts during this difficult time as we grieve our beloved, Konye.
We want to give Konye the send off she deserves, to honour her memory and to say our farewells. It has come to our understanding that some wish to bless the family financially to support with the funeral costs. If you do wish to support the family, please message one of us directly for our account details.
We thank and appreciate you all in advance.
A funeral service honouring our beloved daughter, sister, niece, cousin and friend, Konye, will be held at Salem International Christian Centre on Wednesday 19th April 2023 at 10:30am. Please see above for the full address.
The dress code is smart and we kindly ask that you wear bright colours and no black or white. Konye liked her designer so if you have that this is time to wear it!
Following on from that, we kindly ask that only invited family members and close friends proceed to the burial site for a private ceremony. The address of the cemetery will be sent to those invited directly.
There will be no reception after.
There will be no reception or party.
It is with heavy hearts that we inform you of the tragic passing of Konye Sandra Oseyenum at aged 22.
She is survived by her loving parents, Samson and Theresa Oseyenum, and two elder sisters, Peace and Venessa Oseyenum.
Konye was born and raised in London and schooled in Essex, United Kingdom. She had a passion for all things music, beauty and a thing for flamboyant and statement designer pieces.
Konye was a beautiful young woman who was courageous, audacious, fiercely ambitious with a loving and gentle heart. She had a personality that was larger than life, an infectious laugh, electrifying energy that had the power to fill up the room and charm that’ll make you crack a smile, no matter how much you want to fight it. She was the kind of person who uplifted all who were blessed to know her.
A natural-born creative, Konye could always be found humming a new song to herself and her angelic voice held healing properties. Her discipline, drive and hunger for success birthed Dreamskin Cosmetics, her first business venture. Passionate about all things skincare, Konye’s line of face washes and nourishing creams now grace the bathroom cabinets of hundreds of beauty devotees worldwide.
Her charisma, cheeky smile and warmth will be sorely missed by everyone she’s touched with her life. We will always love and cherish her and fondly reflect on the memories we made.
This isn’t a goodbye, but until we meet again…
