Personal note

A personal note from the family

Laurie’s family thank you for your kind words of support during this difficult time.

You’re invited to share your memories of Laurie on this page.

There will be a memory book at the Celebration of Life after the funeral for people to share their thoughts and any photos they’d like to bring along.

Laurie wouldn’t want you to send flowers but please if you are able or would like to donate in his memory to the HASAG charity who helped him a great deal and continues to help those suffering from the awful disease of Mesothelioma.

Obituary

About Laurie's Life

About his life…Laurie was born on Derby day 30th May 1951. He spent a happy childhood in Bethnal Green with Mum Rose, Dad John and sisters Christine, Linda and Cheryl. His working life was spent mostly in the wood trade although he had a huge amount of knowledge in many areas. If you name a job that had to be done he almost certainly would and could’ve turned his hand to it. He was a loving Husband, Dad, Grandad, Great Grandad, Brother, Uncle and friend. He was a wonderful man who had a loving and caring influence in all our lives. Whilst he tried to protect you all from the enormous grief this day would bring he would want you all to celebrate his life and raise a glass (or 2) in his memory and a toast to us all, his loving family and friends.
