In Loving Memory
Born 25th November 1973 to Marjorie Cruickshank and Fenrick Anthony (deceased). Liselle Anthony-Douglas grew up in Arnos Vale Rd, Tobago. She was the youngest of 4 (1 boy and 3 girls). She attended Scarborough RC Primary school in Tobago and proceeded to Signal Hill Senior Comprehensive High School, Tobago where she graduated in 1991. In 1989 Liselle met Curtis Douglas who she later married in June 2004 in Tobago. The couple moved to London England and Liselle proceeded to study at London Metropolitan University where she successfully completed studies in Social Work.
Following her graduation, Liselle worked as a full time Social Worker in North London. While in the UK, in 2010 Liselle and Curtis welcomed the birth of their only son Armani Douglas. Shortly after in 2011 Liselle and her family returned to live in Tobago. Liselle joined the new team of Social Workers in the Tobago House of Assembly and proceeded to become a Social Worker Team Lead in Tobago Branch of the Children Authority Department. Liselle Anthony - Douglas was a bubbly person, full of joy, a light in the room, she has surely left a mark on all our hearts and will be missed as a wife, friend, cousin, mother, aunt, sister and daughter.

Our last moment with Liselle was last year Easter when we went to the Nylon Pool. Having her there with us was a joy. I have always seen a happy smiley person with a sweet personality. She was loved here on the earth and she will be loved in the Spirit. To the entire family please accept our sympathy .
Continuing in the beautiful memories that was left behind ❤️ ❤️
Liselle and I grew up as sisters in Arnos Vale, Plymouth, Tobago . My mom raised Liselle like her own child. I remember our days of playing dolly house and going to church. The last time I saw my sister Liselle was in December of 2015 when I visited home. My husband and I sat with her on her mom’s veranda and we joked about her childhood days. Liselle, you will be sadly missed. Rest peacefully in the arms of God. Love you always Sis.

I met Liselle when we worked at the Division of Health when the community service program started in 2012. I worked as her assistant, she was very kind hearted and encouraging we got along as though we knew each other a long time. I did leave the section but we continued talking. I thought of her on the very weekend that I found out she died. I say thank you Lord for me knowing Liselle. Condolences to her son Armani, husband Curtis , her mom and siblings.
Liselle and I attended high school together. I migrated right after graduation so I had not seen her in years. We connected on Facebook and she was just as polite and sweet as I remembered at school. She had a bright smile, a contagious laugh, and a brilliant mind. Gone way too soon. May her soul rest in peace.
Wow ! Liselle lived a remarkable and purposeful life! I will always remember her spirit of kindness, and her respect towards to my father . A beautiful life, gone too soon!.. May the beautiful Angels welcome her , into the heavenly gates! Rest well, Liselle!
To my cousin , you have done your time here on earth. God calls home only the best now go and rest in his arms. Prayers up for my Aunt, her husband, her son, friends and rest of the family.

Deep deep condolences to all the family and friends in the passing of such a vibrant and beautiful soul / my dear dear Liselle – my friend and erstwhile colleague – you will be profoundly missed . May you rest in perfect peace my love – always
Deepest Condolences to the Family in this time of loss. I first met Liselle in the 1980’s when we were Girl Guide sisters under Ms. Louisa Ince. Liselle has always been warm, bubbly and caring soul; always so easy to converse with. Her smile and bubbly laughter will always be etched in my heart. Though Liselle and I didn’t continue on as friends, whenever we saw each each other it was as if time stood still, and we picked up from where we left off. Liselle will truly be missed.
I extend my deepest sympathies to the family and pray that God will comfort you, to my former worker colleague rest in peace and rise in glory, Forever in our hearts
My dear cousin Liselle, so beautiful, always happy and smiling, a joy to be around. Still can’t believe she is gone, far too soon. May her soul rest in peace.
Liselle and I went through high school together but we really bonded when we started off working in the public service. Over the years we’ve maintained a true friendship, we’ve shared many moments and created many memories, from weddings to birthdays, road trips to Movie Towne nights, many fun filled activities, many chats, many laughs, many eats. She would always say “juliet yuh know is only you cud walk up my step jus so”…I would respond “yuh done know”…and we would both laugh…Liselle was loved in life and she would be missed in death…my call up buddy…Rest in Perfect Peace
I was heartbroken to learn of your passing, Liselle. I will miss the personal conversations we shared and the sense of unity you brought to our IIU team. We won’t be the same without you, but I know we also won’t forget the knowledge you imparted. We shared so many wonderful memories together as a team and nothing can replace those memories. I remember the call at midnight the day SEA results were due and how we hoped to learn what schools our sons had passed for, fighting sleep lol. Armani was your whole world and I pray he knows how loved and cherished he was by you. God grant him comfort as he grieves your loss. I remember giving you a pumpkin from my garden and how you commented on Curtis’ love for pumpkin. It was customary for us to trade fruits and vegetables and though a small gesture to some it was very much appreciated by me. I pray that your husband finds comfort in God’s word and finds the strength to live each day intentionally. Liselle, you are dearly missed. God bless your soul and grant you eternal peace…
My cousin, my riding partner. Still in shock. Will miss our chats and meet ups. God knows best! May your sweet soul rest in eternal peace my darling.
My darling Liselle Anthony Douglas as I would normally address you, ( and we would burst out laughing)as a colleague you were always willing to assist and you were an excellent team player…My heart is broken and am sure all Social Workers attached to DHWSP…(CSSU) Sleep well my girl, God loved you more..
Condolences to Leslyn and family on behalf of your Sister Liselle. Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning. I pray God’s loving hands be wrapped around you all and comfort you all at this time. May Liselle rest in peace.
Hello Liselle, I’m honestly upset and so sorry that you’re no longer here with usbut I am grateful for the memories we shared together. You and I started creating memories together when we both started our career at the Children’s Authority IIU, on the same date : 03.06.2019 which we would always mention and laugh about because we took our vacations the same time each year! Although it was not your first social work job, it was my first, and I can definitely say you taught me so much and I’m happy for that and I promise to share the knowledge and teachings you gave as the team lead of the IIU Tobago. So now that you’re gone, I can always hear you saying to me “Trixie you bring lunch and Wah we eating?” and if I don’t give her a good food option or call to order the food you felt for within a short time, you would say “ yuh see me, let me call my husband and ask him to bring a smoke house for me.” Liselle you was so funny especially when you came out with your card to clear your SHEIN orders and I would ask you:“Another one Liselle?” One thing about Liselle, she loved to dress up with her jewelry, nails, hair done and looking classy and cutesy ♀️ So many nice things to saybut I could have never imagined saying “RIP” to Liselle no time soon because you had so much to offer and many years to live! I don’t want to question God but he knows best for us To husband: Curtis and baby: Armani who Liselle loved so suchI pray that God give you both the comfort in this difficult time and may be precious memories of Liselle live happily in your hearts and minds. Thank you Liselle so much for the five plus years we spent together, which felt like I knew you forever. I pray that you rest in perfect peace until we see each other again
Sincere condolences to the family, friends and acquaintances of Liselle. I was really shocked when I heard of your passing. Although we were classmates it was only when we worked together at the Children’s Authority that I really got to know the real you. May God be with your family at this time. Rest in peace Liselle. Gone but not forgotten.
Thinking about her husband, son and all her immediate family and close friends at this time. I will always remember your warm smile. Always friendly, genuine and kind. Even when you left the UK you always asked after me and my family. Such a sweet soul. Rest well Liselle xxx
I have known Liselle since early childhood and she was always calm, pleasant and polite. My heart goes out to her son, her husband, her mother and siblings. May her soul rest in peace.
Liselle, I don’t think I’ve processed your passing fully and it will take time adjusting to your absence. Thank you for your leadership, infectious laughter and words of encouragement/advice over the years! I lift your family up in prayer and I continue to call on the Lord to wrap his arms around them. Why you left in such a hurry we may never understand but I find peace knowing you are resting comfortably in the arms of our Lord and Saviour. Rest well Liselle, you will forever be missed!
We miss you.
Liselle it was blessing knowing you, and sharing laughs and conversations about work, and life; and the things that mattered most. Your absence is felt, you are dearly missed my friend, but I am comforted by our memories. I pray God’s continued comfort and grace to your family and loved ones at this time.
Liselle, this is hard to swallow. Thanks for your infectious laughter and stale jokes that will forever remain with me. Thanks for your stern guidance, for I have learned so much from you. Your absence has left a void. You will be missed greatly missed. Oh how I wish this was dream. Rest easy Boss Lady.
Liselle this is Sharon Winchester girl….I am sorry that you had to leave us and I pray and know that God would take care of your loving husband and baby Armani. Sleep in eternal peace until we meet again
Liselle was my first official “boss” and while she did not like me calling her “boss lady” that’s what she was to me! She was a “boss” at everything she did! I learnt so much from her! Liselle was a “boss” at managing cases, diffusing tense situations and the list goes on! She had a lot of knowledge, and she shared her experiences with everyone in hopes that they would learn from her! And trust me we did!! I am so glad I got to hear her stories and be under her guidance for the past four years! I will never forget Liselle always saying “I go by the book! Stick to the book and it will always save you.” Sometimes to ensure we stuck to “the book” she would say “aye I like my little 2 cents when the month come!I not trying to lose my wuk!” Liselle was an amazing Social Worker and an even better supervisor and the love she had for her “IIU team” although we would get her upset at times, was unmatched! Liselle was funny, caring and charming and I will miss her so much! To Armani and Curtis, Liselle loved you all sooo much! All she would talk about is her family and she would always put her family first! I’m sorry it turned out this way, I pray that the all the memories and God’s words and love can comfort the family during this time. Thank you for everything Liselle, things have not been the same and it will never be because the IIU team is down 🙁 I love you and you will be greatly missed! I cannot believe I am saying this but Rest in paradise Liselle! Rest in paradise!
May your soul rest in eternal peace.

When I say Tobago are my people, I meant Liselle and the team. Liselle you were my equal, who worked closely and collaborated with me. You also became my confidante. I admired your passion for your family, your team and clients. I will miss you my love
From Arlene( form 1 school mate). RISP, my friend. I’ll never forget that smile
Although Liselle and I grew up in the same village and attended the same Secondary school, my fondest memory of her was a chance meeting when I studied in London in the nineteen nineties. Looking through the window of a double decker bus I saw Liselle close to a bus stop. I immediately got off the bus and ran to her. We were so ecstatic to see each other. A familiar friendly face was like finding gold. Thanks to Liselle and her sister, I was able to feel a ‘piece of home’ in a sometimes cold unfriendly place. My condolences to all who mourn her passing. May her soul rest in eternal peace.
Condolences to the family of Liselle. May the memories of her comfort you during this season of sadness. Pearl Thomas Janecia Thomas
