During the first four months of our freshman year of high-school, there was a fuss going around that a beautiful girl was going to transfer from another school to our class, and before I knew it there she was sitting right next to me, due to the alphabetical order of our surnames.
I had fallen in love with her from that moment but it wasn’t until we were at university where I was blessed with the chance of courting her. 46 years later I still felt like the luckiest man whenever I would lay my eyes on her.
We got married in the church, was blessed with two boys at first, now gentlemen, our eldest Arckie marrying Kate, bringing up 2 boys; Kaden and Kaius -10 and 3 respectively. Our 2nd child Bullet is now here in London working as a handsome chef in a prestigious hotel.
And last but not least, Kisha who came out while we were here in UK, now at a top university – King’s College London.
Tes was beautiful, courageous and witty. She was always supportive to all my plans and decisions. She never failed to put a smile on everybody’s face, her pure and compassionate heart touched many lives and she will forever be remembered.
I would like to say thank you Tes.
