Since announcing our Father's passing, we have been overwhelmed by the wonderful messages and memories shared from all over the world. Michael had friends from many walks, areas, and eras of life, and we're very much looking forward to reconnecting and meeting some of you for the first time, during such a difficult time.
Your memories and experiences with him have really give us comfort during this time.
We will be webcasting the service for those of you who cannot join us in person, which will be available to stream for a period of time after the funeral.

Funeral Details
South London Crematorium
1st December 2023
12.00pm – 1.00pm
Officiant: Bob Noble
Please meet outside the service chapel by 12pm. Guests will be asked to take their seats before the pallbearers bring Michael in. Pallbearers will be lead by Ben.
Wake
The pub is 1.5 miles from the crematorium, a 15 minute walk, or 5 minute drive. It is next to the big Sainsburys.

I didn’t know Michael for long. In fact I first met him in August this year whilst I was working as a Barman in a Porlock Pub he frequented. He would usually come in and have a couple of glasses of Merlot and perhaps a bite to eat. On quieter evenings we would have chance to have a good chat at the bar – Him telling me a little of his life and I usually rabbiting-on about my time spent in the Army. He was a softly spoken chap, generous, kind, and known by many in the village as a “nice old boy”. It was a pleasure to know him. “Cheers to you Michael. You were a true Gent.”

Loved this man once and even though it’s been decades since I last saw him, I still have many happy memories of his kindness, fun and unique style.
