Neville Anderson Bascombe died on February 22nd, 2021 at 4.30pm due to complications caused from contracting Covid-19, Neville fought Covid valiantly for several difficult weeks right until the very end where he passed away peacefully with his two daughters by his side.
Neville was born on April 9th, 1960, In Barbados to his mother Florence Evelyn Bascombe and Father Ernest Michael Bascombe. In 1968 Neville came to the United Kingdom where he spent the rest of his childhood growing up in London, South Norwood. His early teens were spent in and around South London until the December of 1979 when he met his lifelong partner Fazila ‘Fiz’ who affectionately called him ‘Ned’, they lived the majority of their life together in North London having three children. Neville was an incredible father who was always spending time with his children; eldest daughter Shirin Bascombe; Son, Jonathan A. Bascombe and youngest daughter, Nicole J. Bascombe. Neville was a vibrant character and an extremely caring man with a very big heart who would look after many and help anyone in need. He loved his family deeply and enjoyed spending quality family time cooking meals, talking, laughing, and listening to music together, Neville was a very attentive Grandad to Jemelle, Jennay and Kairo. Neville was the eldest of 4; big brother to Richard, Sam and David and dear friend to many.
Neville or Nev as he was known was a hardworking tradesman at heart and worked as a Glazier for the last 40 years.
Neville was very courageous, strong, and loved by all.
Neville was a genuinely special man who will be truly missed.
