I am short of words, but I pray that the Lord grant you eternal rest in the bossom of father Abraham. And may you soul and the souls of all the faithful departed through the mercy of God rest in peace, Amen. To our dear auntie Pat, I pray that the Lord grant you the fortitude to bear this irreplaceable loss.
My dear brother and friend Ose, words have failed me to know that you have gone to rest in God’s heavenly place. I have not been able to process in my head that you are no longer here with us on earth, I remember how we talked, shared ideas and laughed. Your sudden demise has left a huge void but we all take solace that you have lived a good life, filled with dexterity, bubbly and never giving up to make a meaning to all. You will be greatly and fondly missed by me and the entire family. May your gentle soul rest in perfect peace with our Lord Jesus Christ Amen. From your brother and friend Odigie K. Ihongbe & Family
Rest in eternal peace Ose! May God Almighty rest your soul amongst His angels ! Your life was short but you ran a good race. Your pains and struggles are over now. May God bless all those that you have left behind in the family and help them to get over the sorrow of losing you!
There are no words to describe the feelings right now, it is all so very raw and still unbelievable that you are no longer with us. But, there are so many words that describe you Ose the person we all love. You are: Inspirational. Kind. Beautiful soul. Caring. Generous. Amazing. Funny. Go-getter. Positive. Happy. Driven. Courageous. Selfless. Never giving up. Always moving forward. Legend. I am forever grateful to have known you and that I was able to call you my friend. My family, wife and kids adore you. For all that I thank you. Love you buddy. Rest in peace bestman x

It is with a heavy heart that I write this tribute to my beloved cousin, Ose Hayble. Ose was more than a cousin—he was a brother, and a bright light to everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. His warmth, generosity, and unwavering kindness touched lives in ways that words can barely describe. His sudden passing has left a deep void in our hearts, one that will be felt for a long time. But even in our sorrow, we choose to celebrate the life he lived—rich in meaning, purpose, and love. We will miss you dearly, Ose. Rest peacefully in the arms of the Lord. Your cousin sister, Usi Osazuwa
My thoughts are with you and your family in this difficult time. May God comfort your loved ones you have left behind. May your soul rest in peace.
To be honest, I don’t know where to start. This is a very painful matter. Ose Hayble is my big cousin, and along with Ehi and Itua, they are my closest cousins. We grew up with them. We spent many Christmases and New Years together with them and the family. In fact, we recently spent Christmas 2022 together, which was a throwback to the old days. God has called him, after many years of pain. He is now at rest, with no more fighting. Ose was a fighter, and he fought to the very end. I believe Ose would rather die on his feet than live on his knees — and this is how it played out. He refused to let Sickle Cell define him. He was always larger than life. I would even say I looked up to him in my younger years, as he was charismatic, ambitious, positive, and strong. Ose was THE MAN. I got many of my mannerisms from him. Even in the 46 years he had on this earth, he still managed to achieve a lot. He was a force to be reckoned with. Ose always strived for the best in life. I am extremely grateful to God for giving me Ose as a cousin, and I will continue to promote him and keep his name alive. When people pass, they never really leave us — they are always around. I am sure he is watching over us, praying for us. He has now joined the Most High God, along with my sister and all the other family members we have lost along the way. He is in good company.I pray that God brings comfort to my Auntie, Ehi, Itua, and Maddison.
In Loving Memory of Ose 1978 – 2025 The utter shock of your passing still haunts us all who know you. It is a shock we’re all coming to grips with. Some people leave this world quietly, but their presence never fades. Ose was one of those people. He wasn’t just my cousin — he was someone I shared a deep and honest bond with. We walked similar roads, faced similar health challenges, and in that, we found comfort in each other’s strength. We talked often, sharing the heavy moments and lifting each other with laughter. And Ose — he had a special way of making you laugh, especially when you needed it most. His teasing was legendary, always gentle, always in good fun, always from a place of love. What I’ll never forget is how he carried himself — with incredible resilience. Even when the pain was real, he wore a smile. He once said, “I may be in pain, but you’ll never see it on my face.” And he meant it. That was Ose — strong, kind, and full of grace. He was the kind of person who lifted others even when he was hurting. He never allowed his battles to define him, even through the toughest of times. Instead, he chose joy, kindness, and encouragement. He reminded me — and so many others — that even in hardship, there is beauty, there is laughter, and there is still room to give. I will remember Ose as someone who never gave up. As someone who loved life, even when it was hard. As someone who made others feel seen, understood, and never alone. Rest easy, Ose. May the Almighty God envelope you in His warm embrace as you go home to rest. Thank you for every shared moment, every smile, every word of strength. Your light stays with us — undimmed and unforgettable. With all my heart, Solomon Hayble A Poem for Ose You wore your courage like morning light, Soft on the face, quiet and bright. Though pain knocked often, you stood tall, Smiling still — through it all. Now you’ve found your peace and rest, But in our hearts, you stay — our best. A gentle soul, a steady flame, We speak of you, and smile your name.
We didn’t speak to each other very often. We didn’t spend vast amounts of time together. That trip to Edo in 2016 made all the difference. That was when the bond was built and it would last until Ose passed into the next life. Susan – my world, she loved Ose and so I was going to love him too. I believe that they are together now and this brings me some comfort. I know that Ose is at peace, with no pain or difficulties. Until we meet again, Ose, in the presence of God Almighty. Peace be with you. To my dear Aunty Pat and my brothers Itua and Ehi. May the peace that Jesus brings cover you. May the Holy Spirit comfort you. Amen
In Loving Memory of My Ose It is with deep sorrow and heavy hearts that I mourn the passing of my beloved nephew, who left us after a long and difficult illness, he faced every moment with courage, dignity, and a quiet strength that inspired all who knew him. He was more than a nephew—he was a shining light in our family, a gentle soul whose kindness, laughter, and loving spirit brought comfort and joy to those around him. His absence leaves a space that can never be filled, but his memory will remain alive in our hearts forever. To our dear family and friends, thank you for your prayers, love, and support during this difficult time. And to my precious nephew—may you now find rest, free from pain, in perfect peace. You will always be loved. You will never be forgotten.
Ose dear, I don’t really know you but your Mum and Grandma Ekpoma are very dear to me. May your gentle soul rest in perfect peace and, may God Almighty comfort and strengthen your entire family and, give them the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss, Amen . Eternal rest grant Ose O’ Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him, Amen

TRIBUTE TO A WORTHY SON, MY PRINCE, OSEGHALE MICHAEL HAYBLE : We were in a state of shock on hearing about your demise. Our Prince, Ose, as fondly called, ever cheerful, loving, good, a responsible son and a loving father to his daughter (Maddison)…The Lord has always been on your side, and now he has called you to himself and that we cannot question, but to give all the glory and thanks to God Almighty for he knows the best for us all. May your gentle soul and the souls of all the faithful departed rest in perfect peace of the Lord. May God grant us your family the great fortitude to bear this irreparable loss. Adieu Son, we love you, and you remain indelible in our hearts . Adieu Ose , Adieu, Adieu. From: Big Mummy and her husband: Pa/Mrs Gabriel and Juliana Ihongbe.
To the dear family of Ose. Im deeply sorry for the loss of your dear son, cousin, nephew and father to Maddison. I was at secondary school with Ose in Hendon. He was playfully cheeky, street smart and overall a good guy. In later years I would admire his suave and sassy nature. We didn’t meet but kept in touch on social media and it’s through there that I learned of his awful fight for health. He was always positive and even gave me encouragement despite his woes. My sincere hope is for his suffering to now be over. God takes the best ones early and I pray that Ose is forever at peace
A Tribute to My Dearest Cousin Losing you feels unreal. You weren’t just my cousin — you were my family, my friend, my constant. So many parts of my life have your name written all over them. From the laughter we shared to the comfort of just being in each other’s company, your presence brought peace and joy in a way few others could. You had a way of making people feel seen, understood, and loved without ever trying too hard. That was your gift — your heart. Whether it was a kind word, a helping hand, or just your quiet strength, you showed up for the people you loved. I miss you more than words can express. I miss your laugh, your voice, and the way things felt easier when you were around. The world feels a little dimmer now, but I carry your light with me. I carry your memory in every step forward, every smile that reminds me of you. Thank you for being you. For everything you gave, for all the love you left behind. You’ll always be a part of me. Rest easy, my beautiful cousin. I’ll never stop missing you. From Jude Ihongbe
In loving memory of Late Ose Gone too soon, but never forgotten. Your smile, your laughter, your kind heart ❤ , they live on in our memories. You were a light in our lives, though you’re no longer here, your spirit remains with us always. Rest peacefully, dear Ose. Mrs. Pauline Ajagun nee Osebor
My dearest cousin, it is sad that death is a debt we all must pay one day. However, I wish it was schedule by age, because there are so many elderly, vulnerable people who would love to embrace death right now. Regretfully, we do not know how our Good Lord has designed our lives and the length of time we owe in this world. This time was your turn by beloved brother, another day, it will be ours. Rest on, till we meet to part no more. May the good Lord comfort your mom, brothers and rest of us you have left behind in Jesus’ name. Amen.
With fond memories of Ose Hayble. Writing this tribute is so surreal. I can’t believe you are no longer with us. You fought a good battle and against all odds you won. Only for death to snatch you away from all your loved ones. You will be sadly missed by those of us who had the privilege to meet and know you. A polite , charming gentleman always with a cheeky smile. I am not very good at saying goodbye, so i stop here. Rest in perfect peace with the Lord Blood, till we meet again.
Rest in peace Ose x you have a beautiful heart and soul and you will be missed so much
Our deepest condolences to the whole family. I will personally still remember you as the ‘boy on the bus’ and cool sixth former. RIP. X
Oh Ose, the amount of times I’ve started to write something but can’t get myself to do so. I still can’t believe that you’re gone. Every now and then I find myself picking up my phone to call you for a catch up but then realise that I can’t. You were so strong, positive and brave throughout everything that life threw at you and what gives me peace is that you are no longer suffering. I will always remember that big cheeky smile of yours and the happy, funny, caring and confident man that you are. Always the life of the party! Thank you for being such a good friend, always there when I needed you. Snowy misses his walks with you and Kailhan was so upset that he wasn’t going to see uncle Ose again. We were so lucky to have you in our lives. We will always have fond memories of you and you will always be in our hearts. Rest in peace my dear friend, you will be truly missed. Love you lots x
Rest in peace cousin, have not seen you in decades. My last memory of you was playing football with you and siblings in Justice Hayble’s compound. I pray for God’s blessings upon your soul, strength, peace and love to your seed, parents, siblings, relatives and loved ones. You will never walk alone & always be cherished. Sleep in heavenly peace.
Ose it’s Chris man. i can’t believe your not here. You was a top top guy. Your smile laugh was infectious. Rest in peace brother. Heaven just took back another angel. God rest your sole. See you soon mate.
May Ose’s soul rest in peace.
We are lost for words. You, Prince Ose Michael Hayble, always had an admirable way of expressing yourself in your texts. Your ability to articulate thoughts so gracefully and thoughtfully really inspires us. We truly deeply believe and hope that you and Rebecca are hugging in heaven. You are now in eternal peace with God. May Christ’s power rest on you. Mom, dad, Malwa, Didrik and Gilda pray for you, your family and your loved ones. Rest well Ose ❤️
My cousin and Big brother. I find myself breaking down randomly during the day, in shock that God has decided to call you. You always gave me the best advice and told me never to worry. I’m going to miss the smile and laughter you shared that would always assure me that everything would indeed fall into place. I want to thank you for reminding me of my duties I now have in becoming a man and helping me to understand that resilience is key in life. You never gave up and we all remember you for that, along with the many things such as being a loving father, cousin, brother and son. You truly are amazing brother and I am so devastated that I can’t text or see you again. I will always love you and I am so thankful that we kept in touch for as long as we did. Thank you for the Chinese order you told me to get, I’m due to try it soon. Rest easy OG, we gained another angel. Nnamdi.
