It is with great sadness to announce that Patrick Moriarty died on Sunday 20th of september, Patrick was born in Tralee, Co Kerry, Rep of Ireland, as a proud Kerry and Irishman.

Patrick moved to London in 1985 he settled into London life and soon London and Peckham quickly embraced Patrick as one of their own,and warmed to his open heart and great generosity. Patrick was Partner to Sue for 15 years and had a 17 year professional career with the Russell Hotel in London central.

Patrick is survived by his Daughters Jodie and Jessica, his twin sons Jack and Lewis, his grandchildren Chloe, Reilly and Scarlett, his Mother Johanna Teresa, his siblings Noreen, Joan,Jack, Eileen, Mary, Thomas, Teresa, Sheila and Emily, Patrick will always be remembered as a shining light who’s loyalty to his family and friends was always true and from the heart.

You can shed tears that he is gone,
Or you can smile because he lived,
You can close your eyes and pray that he will come back,
Or you can open your eyes and see all that he has left.

Your heart can be empty because you can’t see him
Or you can be full of the love that you shared,
You can turn your back on tomorrow and live yesterday,
Or you can be happy for tomorrow because of yesterday.

You can remember him and only that he is gone
Or you can cherish his memory and let it live on,
You can cry and close your mind be empty and turn your back,
Or you can do what he would want: smile, open your eyes,
love and go on.
