Rest in peace brother Paul. Condolences to family and friends xx
Pauls knowledge of reggae music and of Bob marley will always stick in my mind, whenever you needed or not needed to know any information on the subject Paul was always about to tell you, from the early hours of the morning to late at night, this is something that I will miss
I was the last to see you, and I still replay that moment in my mind. You were calm, kind, and present — just like always. You may be gone, Paul, but a part of you stays with me.
Paul was truly a joy to be around — always wearing a smile on his face. Since meeting him, I’ve become far more knowledgeable about Bob Marley (haha!). It was a pleasure and a blessing to know him. We shared a wonderful bond, and he would often fondly refer to me as his daughter. Paul, you are deeply loved, and I’m grateful that you’re now at peace. Rest well ❤️
I last saw you on the Tuesday when you was helped by me to the ambulance and you was trying to pull me in with you. You will be forever missed by everyone that knew of you and have left a massive part of you with us all and your memories when we have gone out to get your hair cut and your massive ice cream that you had. Thinking of all the family at this time.
I still remember when it was my first day at work and you shared your great knowledge about India with me and asked me if I love Bollywood music. It has been great working around you with you in your ups and downs and of course with your obsession with Bob Marley. you have been so kind and always called me a hard working staff at Harbour Homes. May your soul Rest in peace ♥️
Paul, where do I start. 4 years of memories with you. I loved every minute of being your support worker. We had so many fun trips out to the town, the sea front, Canterbury trips. You eating ice cream and a whole bag of candy floss in one go. I was one of your favourites from day 1 and didn’t I know it, well until you weren’t in the mood with me. Il be forever grateful to have had you in my life. You will always hold a place in my heart. I will never forget Bob Marley either or anything about him! And your love for Billie Eyelash & Marilyn Monroe. Rest in perfect paradise Paul. P.S – Chucky is safe with us & we will look after him forever even though Lexi does think he’s a bit scary
I first met you Paul in August 2015 when I arrived at Harbour, it was my first day as Manager. You were sitting in the lounge and you gave me a cheeky grin with that twinkle in your eye and you continued to do that over the years. The times I repeated to you that I wasn’t a Bob Marley fan but you still persisted in telling me his life story! You were part of the fabric of Harbour Home Paul, and you are missed so very much. Rest in peace.
Paul will be missed, he was a big character, had so many stories to tell ,even when he was poorly he was still keeping a nice smile and talk about music , i am happy i met such a man full of life despite the life struggles he was a strong man . Rest in peace Paul hope now you are well at the FATHER RIGHT in heaven ,
Dear Paul Though you were only in my life for a short time , the time we shared together was filled with laughter and smiles. The friendship we created is one I will remember forever. Thank you for sharing your life with me and your kind words of encouragement such as when you would always call me a superstar for my cleaning (lol). Thank you for sharing your interests of UB40 and Bob Marley with me , the one song I won’t ever forget Julian Marley- cooling in Jamaica you always lightened my day with your contagious humour one love x
I will always remember Paul as a cheeky chappy with a twinkle in his eye. He was always so animated when chatting about music and he persevered in talking to me about reggae music despite me always telling him I’m not really a fan! However, I will now always think fondly of Paul whenever I hear a Bob Marley or other reggae song! Rest easy Paul, you are missed x
I was truly saddened to learn of Paul’s passing. Although I supported him for a short time, it was meaningful to me. In that time, I came to see Paul’s strength, warmth, and unique spirit, and I feel grateful to have shared even a small part of his journey. Your mischievous smiles are missed. Seeing you were a Bob Marley fan, will say may “Jah lead you home.”my deepest condolences and thoughts are with your family during this difficult time. Rest well Paul!!
My first day at Harbour Paul showed me his photo albums of his family chatting to me about Bob Marley. Over the years when on shift I would hear him call my name through out the shift asking me to order things for him with that twinkle in his eyes. You are truly missed.
Farewell, Paul. It’s been a pleasure knowing you over the last seven years. Plenty of funny memories, some of them too inappropriate to mention! Even on the darker days we all knew the real Paul was never too far away. Funny, knowledgeable, kind and generous is how I’ll remember you, and you’ll be greatly missed by us all. Rest in peace.
Paul, you were a character that was larger than life! I will miss you and your cheeky smile (and you forgetting my name on occasion) I hope wherever you are you are at peace and hope you know you were cared about! Nicola x
Paul, a true character in every sense of the word. The smile, grin. Forever talking about Bob Marley and reggae. Was a pleasure to support you over the years. You’ll be very much missed. Rest In Peace
Paul I still remember my first day at the home and like everyone else you instantly was with me all day talking about Bob Marley and the reggae scene as interesting as it was but five years of it I feel that I got a good education on all that. Paul some days you made me really laugh and other days you drove me nuts, but you kept me on my toes and the home is very different without you .
May God bless his soul in the paradise and give his family comfort and peace
Paul how can I ever forget you, I never realised how much I would enjoy my job until you happened and it’s not the same without you. You taught me patience that I didn’t know I had until you tested me for 8 hours a day! We got each other and I felt we had a true connection, I miss you more than I ever thought I would. Fly high xxx
Thank you for being a good friend to me when I moved into Harbour Homes. You will be deeply missed. I will miss you lots and also will miss your shuffling with feet and zimmer frame.
It was nice to meet you Paul although it was very briefly. Thank you for being there for me and may you R.I.P Paul
To a brother I never came to know all the very best on the next part of your journey, Vanessa xx
I remember my first few days working at Harbour and how you were non stop talking about Bob Marley showing/playing me all of yours cds. You even showed me skanking and had other residents up dancing too!! You would always make me laugh even when we were trying to do something sensible. Paul you were one-of-a-kind, and even though you’re gone, you will never be forgotten (especially when we hear Bob Marley). Rest in peace xx
Thank you for the chance to watch in on the service…from afar, as it probably should be. So many fond words, so heartwarming to hear. Luv, Nessa Xxxxxxxxx
