Rossella was born in Rome and met Richard at the Church of Scientology 20 years ago. We got to know and love her. She was like the daughter we never had. Rossella loved dancing – perhaps she would have liked to have been a ballerina. She loved her holidays in Dorset and Yorkshire and especially Scotland and the Isle of Skye. She also loved to go kayaking with Richard in Dorset and Scotland. We enjoyed many holidays together – the last one at Robin Hood’s bay in North Yorkshire in 2019. It was such a shock when we heard the diagnosis of her illness we just could not believe it – could not take it in. We love and miss you so much Rossella. Rest in peace. Your adopted Mum and Dad. It was such a pleasure knowing you, Rossella. We were friends for nearly quarter of a century and in that time I always enjoyed your company greatly. Working with you on an off for a number of years has also given me many fond memories. You were a terrific product officer and I shan’t forget you breathing down my neck to hit my quotas! I miei ricordi con te, Rossella, purtroppo si fermano a tanti anni fa, a quando tu e Pino eravate adolescenti ed io e mia sorella due bambine! Ma abbiamo trascorso così tante vacanze estive insieme, che resteranno quelli i ricordi più belli che porterò dentro di me di noi insieme! Quando Pino mi ha detto quello che stavi attraversando per colpa del tumore, mi è crollato il mondo addosso…Erano anni che non ti sentivo, ma grazie a Facebook almeno ci siamo ritrovate in qualche commento scherzoso e poi la nostra ultima telefonata durante la malattia…non ci volevo credere 🙁 La vita a volte è veramente ingiusta…il tumore, purtroppo, è un male che se si accanisce non lascia speranza, ma io fino all’ultimo ci ho sperato…e poi :'( Buon viaggio Ros e buon riposo anima bella… Io e te vivremo per sempre su quella spiaggia di Briatico! My husband and I first met Rossella around 25 years ago. She was always very friendly from the day we met her. She was tiny in frame, (which as a typical woman, I was envious of), but she could hold her own space without getting upset or angry. I also remember her and Richard getting together. So adorable. They were so proud of each other, and happy. We lost contact for a while, but then we saw her at a funeral of a mutual friend – sad as the circumstances were, it was such a win to see her again, and we had a really nice catch up. We never got a chance to see her after this unfortunately. We will remember our old Italian friend as someone who was sweet, private and aesthetic. Wherever you are now my love, we hope you go on to do beautiful things.

I have known you for nearly 25 years. You have always been a loving and dedicated friend. You were full of fun and happiness and you were an incredible staff member when I was your boss in Tottenham Court Road. We have stayed in close communication all that time and I was so happy when you and Richard got together!! I will always remember your bright smile and your purpose to live a good life. I’ve known Rosella for almost 20 years as we went to the same church in London. I remember so admiring her beautiful raven hair, her vivacity and her lovely Italian accented English. But mostly I remember how warm, friendly and kind she was – not just to me but to everyone. I used to so enjoy visiting her and we’d debate the problems of the world and discuss how our tech could make it all so much better. Those were good times. Wherever you are now, Rosella, I wish you all the happiness and health you deserve. Thank you for being my friend.

I met Rossella in London 22 years ago.  Through the years we managed to keep in contact, although because of distance we couldn’t meet up in person much as I moved away. I am sad that she has left us, some weeks before we had a conversation by message where she explained her situation to me. I for one will miss her contagious happiness, which spread to everyone around her. I first met Rossella in 2002 when we started working together at our Church. She really helped me settle in and was always very kind and supportive to someone who was learning the ropes. We shared some very funny times, working together trying to make things go right and I soon came to realise that Rossella was a very smart, competent person with a great sense of humour. I first met Rossella nearly 20 yrs ago when we worked together. She was a wonderful work buddy who showed me the ropes and was always willing to help me out and share her know-how. I remember her tiny office, filled with computer equipment, where she could be found for a word of advice or help and an occasional  chat while she typed away.  I loved her humour and her sparkling, fun-filled eyes, which made everything seem unserious. I will treasure our last conversation where,  as always, she shared her thoughts and ideas with a glint in her eye and a smile on her lips.  I know you are watching over us Rossella so go well and thankyou for  our times together.
