Sally Bibi's Life Story

London
Sally Bibi Bacchus Persaud daughter of Kurisha Alibaksh Bacchus and AliBaksh Bacchus was born in Guyana, South America and emigrated to the UK 60 years ago. She lived in London as  a  wife and a mother and always a kind friend. She worked hard all her life  until she was taken care of so extremely well by West Hampstead Care Home. Everyone loved her laughter and singing. In their kind care she passed away peacefully at the age of 88. Our mum lived her life with strength and tenacity. She endured life with humour, spice and a love for music, strong tea, Bloody Marys and Benson and Hedges. A farewell from our mum;-
''I give thanks for a long marriage with my husband, I especially thank all my sisters and brothers, their spouses and children for always loving me to my very end.  So far away yet you happily gave me so much time, you  all made me feel joyful and valued with your sweet words and kindness. I hope to  always live in the hearts of my children. They know I tried my best. We shared laughter and tears and I will always come to them in mind and spirit in their times of need. I always  said do not be afraid – and do not cry for me.  Especially now, please smile – be happy for me.  My Dear, My  Husband,  I have no regrets.  I am returning to my maker and loved ones. I can now rest forever and know everlasting peace.  I am going where there is no more pain or heartache.   P.S Have a large cup of strong black tea and a fag for me sis… and  please play Shani Raat all night  long babes Farewell for now until we meet again.''

Dear Sam, John, Luke and Ava, Jay and I send our warmest hugs and most sincere love to you on the loss of your mum and gran. May The Lord comfort you! May He continually guide and lead you into a closer walk with Him. Life is indeed fleeting! The treasures we store in heaven; as we love Him with all our hearts, our minds and souls and those all around us, is waiting for us when we go to Our Father. I pray your loved one is seeing all this now with heaven’s clear eyes! God bless you!

My dear sister, one of my eldest sister because you were twins with Cleama. It was sad to hear of your passing. I came last year to see you and Brother James in London and you were both so happy. We shared memories, sang and bonded. You left us for a better life in the UK and you were kind to give us shelter when Bertie and I with our two girls came to live in London in 1977. We had good times then and again when you and Brother James came to Guyana for a short while. I can still hear that distinct laughter, those kind words and so much more. God has decided it was time for you to go as we all will do one day. Go rest in peace my dear sis and may Brother James remain strong until God brings you back together with him. We love you. Fazie, Bertie, Judy, Simone and Tash and their families.

Dear Sally, You are now in a better place free and safe – You will be able to look down on your family and see how much you have meant to each and everyone. Those closest at home to you and those who live in further away in Canada, America and Guyana. You will see how you touched each life you came in contact with – You will also see how special your daughter Samantha is, and how she has shown great strength, compassion during this time and throughout her life. She feels at peace knowing that she was able to ensure your final years were comfortable and that you were well looked after, She will always remember your love of tea, which she also shares – Nothing better at the end of a long day. Rest in peace.

On behalf of the Yacoob family. So sorry to hear of aunty Solma’s passing. May Allah take her to Janat. I remember her spending time at my mum She was a joyful young person at heart. She liked her dancing and wow…..what a cook …. Curry , Dhall pouri, pepper pot, bygan choka and all dem nice Guyenese food . Anyway I wished she was better cared for by her 2 children. A special thank you must go to cousin Dhalini who visited them often in Aunt Solma’s latter days. They were sad missing their children … but the staff & cousin made her happy in her latter days. I wish and hope Uncle James can spend his last days with his daughter or son .

Praying God will give you whatever your heart needs most right now… that you’ll feel His love through caring friends and family who should support and help you heal from your grief … and remember the comforting memories, and quiet moments of peace. Though the road is shadowed with many haters and jealous people it is never easy when your heart feels torn, Know that within you, new strength is reborn. In every shared story, every tender glance, Her spirit relives, in love’s gentle dance. May her subtle whispers of love bring you peace, And in time, may your pain softly release. For even in parting, love’s light will remain, Guiding your heart through each moment of pain TRAUMA SAYS: I should have done things differently HEALING SAYS: Hindsight offers clarity, but I did the best I could with what I knew at the time. I deserve to be gentle with myself even when I make mistakes. with all of this said support should always be there for someone who has lost someone no matter the relationship and the history because at the end of the day the love of sally’s family is the reason she lived this long and is the reason why she is going to live in heaven forever x life is short and death should show everyone to live everyday as if it is your last so Please don’t judge people. You don’t know what it took someone to get out of bed, look and feel as presentable as possible and face the day. You never truly know the daily struggles of others. i am not a family member, just someone trying to make the world brighter so it saddens me when a beautiful web page gets created solely by sally’s beautiful daughter and people use it to dig at people at there lowest so I hope I can send enough love for you to heal and feel enough and loved
