When Mum and Dad were young and care free.

I shared many happy years and memories with dear Sue. Starting at Woodside School we became close friends, with Sue the laughter was never very far away. Sue was always a good friend to those lucky enough to call her that. Always ready to listen and always ready to help. It was very hard not being able to see each other over the past months. I will miss our cups of tea together. Goodnight my dear,dear friend.Sleep well, you will always be in my heart.

Dear Clive As many have already said, Sue was kind caring funny and a good friend. Sue and I became friends through Woodside. We went on to do adult education classes together, that being pottery and flower arranging neither of us being successful at either but of course we had many laughs at our attempts. Sue was brave and uncomplaining. She will be missed by everyone whose lives she touched. love to you and the boys Barbara and Bryan xx

I had the pleasure of working with Sue at Woodside Junior School for many years as my Teaching assistant. She made my job easy . We shared so many good times and laughs . I will always remember her cheerful, happy personality and zest for life . It was a privilege to call her my friend and colleague. May she rest in peace . All my love Alyson ( Daly ) xxxx

I have so many lovely memories of Sue from the many years that we worked together at Woodside School, where Sue was held in high esteem by fellow colleagues and parents alike. It was a rare day that we didn’t hear Sue’s laughter emanating from some corner of the school but we would also receive a hug and kind word when we were troubled by some trauma in our lives. She also held the elderly dear to her heart and occasionally arranged get togethers which, I am sure, were much appreciated. Whilst undeniably intelligent and vivacious, I will mostly remember Sue for her kind heart and will miss our phone chats, particularly in the years since we both left the school. I know that when the sadness recedes, I will just be proud and happy to have classed her as a true friend. She was loved and will be missed by us all. Rest in peace. June x

Dear Clive, Stephen and Michael, My sincere and deepest sympathy to you and all the family. I am so sad to hear, today, of the passing of my dear friend and colleague Sue. We worked together at Woodside School, where she was such an important, caring member of the team. Sue supported me, as my Teaching Assistant and friend, for many years, through happy and challenging times. Sue loved music and dancing. She was such a ‘party girl’ at Christmas celebrations, summer outings and at the end of every academic year party. We all loved her at Woodside. Sue will always be remembered in my heart. She will be sadly missed by so many. Yes, she has truly earned her wings. God bless Sue, her loving husband Clive and all her family.

I remember Sue ,the laughter and all the many good times we shared at Woodside. Warm and caring with a huge sense of fun . She will be missed. Shine brightly Sue.

Sue was my lovely youngest Cousin as. small children my brothers and I along with our parents. Visited often , and I often stayed over. She was a happy baby and a sunny little girl,who was loved and adored by Aunt Hannah and Uncle Stan. A gentle loving woman,I will miss her being in this world Though Terry and I live in Australia, we always knew she was a part of our world. Clive, you have been her heartbeat for so long ,there is nothing I could say that’s anywhere near enough admiration that you and your family deserve, for making my Little Cuz so happy, when most people might have given up. Please stay in touch, she would like that Jacqui and Terry and family

My Dear Mum Life will never be the same without you. You may not have realised but our silly chats on the phone were a highlight of my days and kept me sane. I will miss you being there, in person or on the phone. I’ll have to find another way to talk to you. I couldn’t have asked for a better Mum. No matter how down you felt inside, with your physical problems stopping you doing some of the things we all take for granted; none of that stopped you being the most wonderful Mum. I never saw those disabilities as a barrier, you were amazing no matter what. I hope you are finding peace and have reconnected with Nan & Grandad. You’ll be in my thoughts forever and always with me wherever life takes me. Until we meet again. Lots of love forevermore Stephen xxx
