The family wishes to extend deep gratitude to all for the prayers, support, comforting messages and calls received during this time of bereavement.
Sue was many things to many people, a wife, a mother, a grandmother, a cousin, a friend, a work colleague.
In all her relationships she was a genuinely kind and caring person who brought a smile, and listened to others problems even when her own problems weighed her down. It is for this that she will be largely remembered.
Born to loving and generous parents, Stan and Hannah, she radiated their values.
When she made friends it was for life, and would always be there for them.
Having a stable loving marriage for 47 years helped her deal with life changing medical problems.
At age 26 she never thought she would live to see her two wonderful sons grow up; but she did live,
and her motherly nurturing helped them to be the kind and caring human beings they are today.
As her husband, I can confirm that she had a profoundly beneficial effect on my life, showing me
what a truly loving family can be.
She had great joy when Michael married his amazing Colette and they produced two beautiful
children, Gabrielle and Ethan.
She also had great pride in Stephen and Michael who possess many of the qualities that defined her.
I know that she would like her family and many friends to know that she valued their relationship to
the end.
She often said she just wanted everybody to be kind to each other.
She certainly lived up to that herself.
Sue is much loved and will be missed by all.
