Funeral For Dulcie

The funeral will be held at North East Surrey Crematorium, Lower Morden Lane, Morden, SM4 4NU

Funeral starts at 14:00

on 24th May 2022

The funeral will be led by Father Matthias, St John Fisher Parish Church

Information for Attendees

The funeral cortege will leave 1 Grafton Road, Worcester Park, Surrey, KT4 7QQ at 1.15pm. Anyone wishing to join the cortege is welcome and please come in for a tea, coffee or soft drink anytime from 12 Noon.

The funeral service will start promptly at 2pm, it will be a 30 minute service so please try not to be late. Dulcie’s favourite colour was red, so any guests who would like to wear an item of red clothing or show off a red accessory for the ceremony are welcome to do so, bring your best!

If you are travelling by public transport, the Crematorium is 1/2 mile from Motspur park railway station which is served by Clapham Junction, the trains run 5+ times an hour and takes 13 minutes, see the link: Train times from Clapham Junction to Motspur Park

After the service, there should be plenty of spaces in cars to get to The Brook for the gathering (see details below), alternatively Worcester Park railway station is 1 stop Southbound from Motspur Park, The Brook is just across the road.

Funeral Wake Details

Following the funeral we will be holding a gathering at The Brook, 181 Central Road, Worcester Park, KT4 8DR to celebrate Dulcie’s life.  The venue has a small car park at the rear, parking is also available in the Waitrose car park just up the high street (free for 2 hours, please get a ticket), or at the Worcester Park Railway Station car park across the road (for a fee), there is also limited free parking on some side streets near the venue.

About Dulcie's Life

It would be fair to say that our Mum lived life to the full, she would light up a room with her personality, warmth and engaging style.

She leaves behind 2 daughters, a son and 5 grandchildren who she got to see grow up into teenagers and young adults.
