About Denehurst Cemetery
Denehurst Cemetery is the newest of Rochdale's six cemeteries, having opened in 2015 within the grounds of Denehurst Park close to the Rochdale Association Football Club's Spotland Stadium. It was developed to provide additional burial capacity for the borough and features pre-laid foundations for a uniform and well-maintained appearance. No buildings, toilets, or chapel facilities are present on site. Its modern layout and park setting make it one of the region's most recently established municipal cemeteries.
