It contains over 44,800 interments and over 59,500 cremations since 1955. The cemetery holds a prestigious Green Flag Award and contains sections for Church of England, Roman Catholic, Nonconformist, and Muslim faiths. Plot XX permits taller headstones and full-length kerbs. The crematorium chapel holds up to 100 mourners and is equipped with a hearing loop, PA system, electric organ, and live webcasting facilities. A green-waste recycling bay is provided for garden waste.
Grave leases are provided from 75 years, with extensions usually available from the cemetery.
