Droylsden Cemetery opened in 1894 on Manor Road in Droylsden and features an operational burial chapel — one of three working chapels across the Tameside borough. The chapel fee is bundled into the standard grave purchase fee. The cemetery has a Garden of Remembrance for ashes scattering and memorial plaques. Droylsden is one of only two Tameside cemeteries with a wheelchair ramp, making it more accessible than most of the borough's other sites. Tameside's 20-minute maximum service time applies.
