Its modern layout features sweeping lawns and a requirement for desk-type memorial plaques only (no upright headstones, imposed as a planning condition). The cemetery provides sections for Christian, Jewish, Muslim, and non-faith burials, with a dedicated Muslim section using wooden chamber construction. New coffin burial plots and ashes grave plots are both available, along with pathside premium locations. Baby grave plots are available on a 50-year lease. No chapel is on site; services are held at Stockport Crematorium.
Grave leases are provided from 75 years, with extensions usually available from the cemetery.
