We're Available 24/7Willow Grove Cemetery opened in 1877 and is situated on the edge of Reddish Vale Country Park on Central Drive in Reddish. Originally privately owned and allowed to fall into disrepair, the cemetery was transferred to Stockport MBC and has been sensitively restored by the Friends of Stockport Cemeteries voluntary group. It features a Commonwealth War Graves Commission Screen Wall of Remembrance, a War Cross, and significant First and Second World War grave sections. Habitat improvements including wildflower meadows and wet scrapes have enhanced the cemetery's biodiversity. No new full-burial plots are available; the cemetery accepts only woodland ashes scattering and the re-opening of existing family graves.
Grave leases are provided from 75 years, with extensions usually available from the cemetery.
Anyone can be buried at Willow Grove Cemetery, but grave prices depend on residency. Lower resident rates typically apply to families living in Stockport, with higher fees for non-residents. Residency rules are complex so please check with your funeral arranger.
